Beginner-Friendly Easy Card Magic: How-To and Introduction (1–10)
A magic trick where no matter how many times you take cards, the number never decreases

No matter how many times you deal, it never becomes 10! Here’s a mysterious playing-card magic trick.
Prepare 14 cards.
The order of the cards is fixed, so please arrange them exactly the same.
Once you’ve lined up all 14, turn the Queens of Clubs and Hearts face down.
Hold the whole packet face down.
From the top of the packet, turn over one card at a time and move each turned card to the bottom.
When a face-up card appears, that means your spectator thinks you’ve gone one full round, so remove the Queen that shows up, turn the entire packet face down again, and count the same way.
Next, with the packet face down, discard the bottom card—the Ten of Clubs.
On the third round, when you turn over the 11th card, discard the Ten of Spades.
On the fourth round, you’ll end up with 11 cards, so show the spectator and say something like, “Looks like we still can’t get to 10!”
Three-card magic with playing cards

It’s a magic trick where you have someone pick one card from three, then you swap the cards and have them mix them, and in that state you correctly name the card they originally chose.
The key is the suits/pictures on the three cards and their order; by keeping track of their relative positions, you can identify the chosen card.
You don’t look at the cards when they choose or when you swap, but you do look when they mix, so focus on tracking where the middle card goes.
After you bring the cards back to your hands, check what the middle card was, and use that information to name the selected card.
Prophecy Magic

A prophecy magic trick that foretells the future using playing cards.
It looks simple, but it’s actually a heart-pounding idea.
When you have someone choose a card and say, “This is the card that should appear,” your audience can’t help but get excited.
When practicing, take your time learning how to handle the cards.
The psychological aspect is also crucial.
The trick is to make your prediction skillfully while watching the audience’s reactions.
If you perform it in front of friends or family, they’re sure to be amazed.
Why not try a prophecy magic trick that’s easy yet incredibly effective?

One-handed card magic

I’ll show you a one-handed card magic trick to find your spectator’s card.
Prepare two pairs of cards with matching suits and values.
For example, if you choose 5 and 10, place one pair on top of the deck with the 5 on the very top.
Put the other pair in your pocket in a way that you know their order.
Shuffle carefully so you don’t disturb the top two cards.
Put one hand in your pocket, and with your free hand have the spectator place cards from the top of the deck onto your open hand one by one.
Afterward, spread the deck to show that their chosen card is no longer there.
Then, produce from your pocket the card that matches the number the spectator selected.
They’ll be amazed, thinking you guessed a 1-in-54 shot!
Card magic

No one can see through it!? Here are some ideas for card magic tricks.
Card magic is something many beginners aspire to master, isn’t it? This time, let’s try a card trick that no one will be able to figure out.
All you need is one deck of cards.
If you perform it at a school festival, inviting attendees to participate will really liven up the venue.
Give it a try!
A card trick that absolutely can’t be figured out

It’s a magic trick where you casually split a deck of cards, have someone memorize the picture and number on a card, return it to the deck, shuffle, and then name the exact position of that card.
After the shuffle, when the deck is spread, only the two jokers are face up, and they indicate how many cards down the selection lies—an effect that heightens the mystery.
The positions of the jokers are predetermined, and from their relative placement, the performer deduces the exact position of the chosen card.
It’s a routine that tests card-handling skills, such as false shuffles that make it look mixed while secretly restoring the original order.
How to make playing cards disappear

Card magic is a classic, so it’s handy to know at least one trick.
Here we introduce a fundamental one: making a playing card disappear.
The secret is simple—when you sandwich the card, hold it with your index finger and pinky, then use your middle and ring fingers to flip the card over and hide it on the back of your hand.
To the spectator, it looks like the card vanishes in an instant.
You don’t have to use a playing card; any not-too-stiff paper like a business card or medical appointment card will work.
Give it a try as a quick party trick.
