Relay of LifeKiroro/Nakasone Izumi

This song was created by NHK Okinawa Broadcasting Station to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of the war, and it is a self-cover by Kiroro from the three-member unit “Sango,” which includes HY’s Izumi Nakasone and Kiroro.
The song sings of the ‘relay of life’—countless lives were lost in past wars, yet life has been carried on through people’s strength and bonds.
It is a piece we hope will reach not only the people of Okinawa, but everyone across Japan living in the postwar era.
