Tickling the tear ducts! An emotional and heartwarming collection of moving K-pop songs (41–50)
FearSon Minho

This is a song performed on Mnet’s rap survival show “Show Me The Money 4.” The moment in the song where he cries out “Dad!” is especially striking.
It’s also notable that the composition was handled by his close friend Zico of Block B, and that BIGBANG’s Taeyang is featured—an impressive lineup that adds to the song’s appeal.
Blue WhaleQWER

This work, which has garnered attention as a girls’ band effort by QWER, is a remake of a signature song by YB, a stalwart of the Korean rock scene.
The original, released in 2011, has long been loved as a masterpiece that depicts human loneliness and dialogue, using the life of whales as its motif.
In QWER’s version, they honor the original’s worldview while blending in the distinctive tones of a girls’ band.
Released as a special single in October 2025, the track surpassed 1.5 million views in just one day, and received high praise from the original songwriter, Yoon Do-hyun, who called it “a satisfying result that strikes a balance—neither too similar nor too different.” It’s a song that conveys a sincere, straight-ahead approach to a classic of rock.
FateI SONI

Lee Sun-hee is very famous in Korea, and her clear yet powerful voice is incredibly captivating.
In the climactic part toward the end, it really wells up in your chest.
This song has been covered by various singers, and I was also struck by Yoo Yeonjung—formerly of I.O.I and now a member of WJSN—singing it for a high school performance.
all of my lifepakuwon

Although Park Won wrote and composed the song himself, it’s a piece that becomes deeply heartrending right from the beginning.
He’s singing to an ex-girlfriend, and in the climactic final section, it feels as if you can hear a cry from the depths of Park Won’s heart—it pierces you to the core.
Baby Baby4MEN

If you want to listen to a gentle, moving song with piano, be sure to check out “Baby Baby”! This track by the Korean male group 4MEN is a beautiful piano ballad.
The vocal harmonies resonate beautifully and match the piano’s tone perfectly.
It’s the kind of song that can help you relax and drift off to sleep, especially before bedtime.
BackINFINITE

INFINITE has many hit songs, but if I had to recommend one, it would be this track.
It starts off with a calm vibe, then shifts dramatically partway through, showcasing INFINITE’s signature razor-sharp group choreography.
It’s a song where the two vocalists’ strength truly stands out.
Bye, SummerIU

A digital single by IU, a nationally beloved singer with immense popularity, released in September 2025.
Remarkably, it’s the number fans have been eagerly awaiting ever since she performed it during her 2024 world tour! IU herself wrote the lyrics and crafted the melody, releasing the song as a gift to share the end of summer with her fans.
Set against a clear, shimmering band sound, it expresses a bittersweet farewell to the passing summer and gratitude for the irreplaceable moments spent with her fans.
You can almost picture the cool breeze and twilight scenes, and feel a heart-tugging sense of poignancy.
It’s perfect for those moments at summer’s end when you want to look back on memories and sink into a slightly sentimental mood.
This work is an emotional piece that conveys IU’s deep affection for her fans.
