Summary of Japanese Members Who Are Active or Have Debuted in the K-pop Scene (11–20)
WOULD YOU RUNmire (TRI.BE)

TRI.BE is a seven-member girl group known for a name that combines the triangle with existence to mean “the perfect being.” They are a multinational idol group consisting of members from Taiwan, Korea, and Japan.
Among the Japanese members is Mire, whose dancing skills are highly regarded.
Inspired by BLACKPINK, she set her sights on becoming an idol and also possesses strong vocal ability.
The group is produced by Shinsadong Tiger, a renowned hitmaker in the K-pop world.
Their crisp, elegant sound matches the group’s mature vibe, and they’re also recommended for fans of club music and dubstep.
Ring RingJuri (Rocket Punch)

Rocket Punch, whose name means “a fresh punch that blasts through a boring everyday life,” delivers unique and fresh music.
Juri, who has been active since their 2019 debut, is the group’s Japanese member.
In Japan, she’s well-known for her time in AKB48, but many may have discovered her charm through the audition program PRODUCE 48.
Despite having a stable career, her willingness to take on the challenge of competing in a foreign country—and her hardworking nature—are truly admirable.
Each year, she’s increasingly embraced a refined, distinctly Korean vibe, yet her unchanged, approachable charm—as seen in official YouTube uploads like #JURIFUL_DAYS—remains one of her appeals.
BAZOOKA!Miya (Kōen Shōjo)

Miya from GWSN, the first girl group launched by KIWI Media Group, is a Japanese member known within the group for her boyish look with short hair.
Alongside her mysterious charm, she also has strong dance skills, and she drew buzz from debut for being “too handsome.” In addition to dancing, she also handles rap, so she may occupy a role similar to Amber from SM’s group f(x), who was supported for her musicality and performance.
She’s the oldest in the team, but she leads the group with a freshness and energy that makes you forget it.
ALL INYUKU(DKB)

DARKB, a boy group produced by Brave Brothers, debuted in 2020.
They’re the junior group to Brave Girls.
The only Japanese member, Yuku, was born in 2002 and is a hard worker who graduated from a Korean high school.
In addition to vocals and dance, he can also DJ, showcasing one of DARKB’s many versatile sides.
With his captivating eyes and gentle personality, he’s well loved by the older members.
His favorite artists are EXO, GOT7, and SHINee, which suggests a good match with the group’s melodic and sophisticated musical color.
EclipseTOMO(ORβIT)

Orbit is a boy group formed by members who appeared on the audition program PRODUCE 101 JAPAN and members who withdrew before evaluations, and they debuted in 2020.
The group’s name seems to reference celestial orbits, and Tomo, who represents Neptune, was born in 1996.
Perhaps influenced by being from Fukuoka Prefecture, he has the cool, handsome look of a sharp, stoic Japanese man.
Formerly a ship engineer, Tomo’s masculinity is a given, but his vocal ability—as the group’s main vocalist—is also an unmissable highlight.
Do It Like ThisSouru (P1Harmony)

P1Harmony, who debuted in 2020 under FNC Entertainment—the company that produced artists like CNBLUE and AOA—includes rapper Soul, the younger-brother figure to Cherry Bullet.
Born in 2003 to a Korean father and a Japanese mother, he’s a Korean-Japanese mixed heritage idol who drew attention for being from Japan.
Some say his facial expressions resemble SHINee’s Key.
Although known to have a quiet personality, he excels in martial arts and stands out for the coolness of his dance skills and choreography, which he has honed since childhood.
Oh MAMAMarin(Bling Bling)

Bling Bling debuted in 2020 as the first girl group from MAJOR9, a label known for powerhouse vocalists like BEN.
One of the two Japanese members is Marin.
Born in 2001 and hailing from Osaka, she leaves a striking impression with her cool, impactful presence as the main dancer.
She brings to mind TWICE’s Momo, partly because they both attended the same dance school, A-STAR artist actors studio.
It’s no surprise, as Marin was inspired by the audition program SIXTEEN.
Beyond her powerful dancing, she captivates with an oriental allure.
Hands UpRemi (Cherry Bullet)

Cherry Bullet is a girl group that debuted in 2019.
Remi, one of the Japanese members, was born in 2001 and serves as the main dancer.
She has experience belonging to Avex Proworks and became FNC Entertainment’s first Japanese trainee—an impressive achievement.
With her stylish dancing and charming expressions, Remi captivates audiences, and her love for Disney shines through.
She also plays the role of the group’s mood-maker.
I LOVE YOUHaruto (TUREJAA)

TREASURE is a large group from YG Entertainment that was born out of the survival show YG Treasure Box.
TREASURE is actually the first group from YG to include Japanese members! One of them, Haruto, is from Fukuoka and was born in 2004; in the group, he mainly handles the low-tone rap parts.
With his tall height and sweet looks, he enhances TREASURE’s smart yet cute charm.
His rap skills and performance ability are so impressive that even the CEO takes notice, and as he keeps refining them, he’s likely to become truly extraordinary!
Love So SweetMei (Cherry Bullet)

May, a Japanese member active in Cherry Bullet, was born in 2004.
She used to perform K-pop cover dances in a group called MRY-N✩, and moved to South Korea around the age of 13 to further hone her skills.
With her tall height of over 170 cm, she showcases stylish dancing as her strength and exudes a glamorous charm in Cherry Bullet as well.
Although she’s the youngest, she has a strikingly mature and elegant visual.
On the other hand, her vocals are characterized by a cute tone, and she has gradually been entrusted with more important parts.
She’s definitely someone to keep an eye on!
