Don’t Fall Asleep feat. Ikuko Harada (clammbon)YONA YONA WEEKENDERS

A lovely band that embraces the concept of “good music to go with your drinks,” YONA YONA WEEKENDERS released this new work in April 2023.
It’s included on their fifth EP, “into the wind,” out in June, and features Ikuko Harada from clammbon as a guest vocalist.
The lyrics, which depict time spent together, and the sweet atmosphere create a soothing comfort.
It seems perfect as a bedtime song, too.
It’s got that quintessential Yona Yona gentle groove that leaves you dreamy.
Alongside the reassuring band ensemble, a calm, peaceful time flows.
Laughing and falling downHanbaato Hanbaato

Humbert Humbert is a folk duo loved by a wide audience for the warm harmony they weave as a married couple and their unadorned worldview.
This song, written as the theme for NHK’s serial TV drama “Bakebake,” airing from September 2025, comes with a memorable backstory: the duo repeatedly read the memoirs of Setsu Koizumi, the model for the story, and composed the piece in one go as if becoming her.
The lyrics gently embrace both the joys and pains of life, revealing new nuances with every listen.
With plainspoken words and a familiar, comforting melody that sinks straight into the heart, it’s a folk number you’ll want to savor again and again.
Kuufuku starring VALSHEKon’ya, ano machi kara

This is a mature, danceable anison where release-cut piano shines over a four-on-the-floor beat.
It’s a track by the music unit “Konya, Ano Machi Kara,” led by Vocaloid producer Nora, released in February 2023.
It was selected as the ending theme for the nationally beloved anime Detective Conan.
The vocals are by Nora himself and VALSHE, a singer who rose to popularity through their activity as an utaite.
The song’s blend of glamour and coolness pairs perfectly with their expansive vocals.
The sound, the melody, and the lyrical world—everything about it is just plain cool!
Friday’s highPenthouse

A soulful, groovy track that sounds like turning the city’s neon into music.
The harmonies of Namioka and Oshima resonate pleasantly.
Released in January 2024, it was also featured as the theme song for Nissan’s X-TRAIL e-4ORCE commercial.
It vividly captures the exhilaration and sense of freedom on a Friday night, adding a splash of glamour to the start of the weekend.
With Penthouse’s soul-baring vocals, you can’t help but start to sway.
It’s the perfect song for when you want to get hyped to the max, or to enjoy at karaoke with friends or as a couple.
PlanetaryPenthouse

With Shintaro Namioka and Maho Oshima as a male–female twin-vocal band, this is a super groovy, cool track that blends R&B, city pop/soul, and jazz elements.
If you try to harmonize on Maho’s parts, it can be pretty tough unless your breathing and timing match theirs perfectly, so I recommend listening repeatedly and practicing along! Especially from the second verse on, there are lots of overlapping lines and harmonies.
The live footage makes it easy to understand, so be sure to watch it and study!
