scale (fish/reptile scale)Hata Motohiro

It was released in 2007 as Motohiro Hata’s second single.

The lyrics and music were written by Hata himself, and it was used as the image song for Nippon TV’s summer documentary “Tejise — 1461 Days of Memories.” Hata’s clear, pure voice is soothing to the heart.

If you can sing it with a gentle tone, it sounds really cool.

And I Love You SoAK-69

He’s a hip-hop artist from Aichi Prefecture.

This is a song AK-69 sang for his wife.

You can feel his gratitude and how much he values the person who stays by his side.

Many people might relate to this man’s feelings.

ASKA – It Always Begins with Rain
It always begins with rain.ASKA

It’s a song released in the ’90s, but it’s still a classic that many men continue to sing.

Younger men might not know it, but I hope you’ll give it a listen this autumn, when ballads are just right.

You’ll find yourself drawn into its world.

On the hill where the moon is visible tonightB'z

Released in 2000 as a TV drama’s theme song, this track became a huge hit, selling over a million copies.

A male high voice laid over a ballad feels wonderfully easy on the ears.

It’s a masterpiece I’d love younger listeners to hear at least once.

Just… I miss youEXILE

EXILE / I Just... Want to See You - Short version -
Just... I miss youEXILE

It’s a poignant ballad that really conveys the longing to see someone dear.

The two vocalists’ voices suit the ballad perfectly, and their beautiful singing and the lyrics bring me to tears.

Among EXILE’s songs, this is my personal favorite.

Always together, just the two of us…GLAY

This is a song that TAKURO wrote for TERU’s sister, whom he was going to marry.

It straightforwardly turns their strong vow to live together forever into a song.

Among GLAY’s fans, it’s probably one of the top three ballads.

It’s a song I’d love for you to listen to with someone you cherish.

The thing I wanted mostJAY’ED

I covered one of Noriyuki Makihara’s famous ballads.

The lyrics unfold like a story, so as you listen, a narrative starts playing in your mind.

I want people who are hitting a wall to hear it.

It’s a song that gives you a gentle push, like seeing a single ray of light.
