One In A BillionWake Up, May’n!

As a song by the unit “Wake Up, May’n!”, formed in response to the sincerity of Wake Up, Girls!’ activities, it was used as the opening theme for the anime Restaurant to Another World.
She herself also embodies that sincerity, having taught herself Chinese to support overseas fans who cheer her on, and it’s likely due to such common ground that she resonated with the members of WUG.

An insert song from the film Macross Frontier The False Songstress, it’s a track that puts the spotlight on Sheryl Nome’s sexiness—something that, aside from her outfits, wasn’t heavily emphasized during the TV broadcast.
The CD jacket follows suit, and it supposedly did—or maybe didn’t—serve as the trigger for pushing that sexiness in things like that figure everyone talks about.
Ready Go!May’n

Opening theme song for the anime “Okami-san and Her Seven Companions.” Keeping her powerful vocals intact, it’s a poppy, bright, and upbeat track reminiscent of her performance as Sheryl Nome.
The music video also matches this, featuring pastel-themed visuals.
BeliefMay’n

It is the opening theme of Taboo Tattoo.
What sets her tie-in songs apart from those of typical artists is that she engages sincerely so that the lyrics, vocal delivery, and musical style never betray the work’s image.
By the time this song was released, that attitude was already well known, and she was likely regarded by everyone as an undisputed anime song vocalist.
May’n☆SpaceMay’n

One of the songs included on May’n’s first mini-album, “Main☆Street.” Composed by Yoko Kanno, with whom she became close through their connection on Macross F, it stands out among May’n’s typically power-focused tracks as a rare, bright and cute song.
Run Real RunMay’n

It is the theme song for the TV drama Real Onigokko THE ORIGIN.
In terms of a tie-in outside of anime, like Shinjitemiru, it is also a very rare song for May’n.
As a fan, it’s delightful to have more opportunities for people to get to know her singing voice.

Scarlet BalletMay’n

As the theme song for Aria the Scarlet Ammo, it’s been crafted into a highly exhilarating track that perfectly matches the anime’s content.
Including this song, many of her tie-in tracks are masterpieces, and it’s fair to say that this is a reflection of her sincerity: she understands each work’s worldview and sings with that in mind.
