Miyabi
I started attending piano lessons at age four and competed in contests in my teens.
I aimed for music college, but I didn’t get along with my teacher and ended up giving up.
In high school I discovered Spitz and have been hooked for a long time.
Later, in college, influenced by music-loving friends, I got into rock, and from around then I began going to lots of concerts and festivals.
In my twenties, while actively working as an illustrator—holding solo exhibitions and more—I had many meaningful encounters with fellow artists and people in the music industry.
As for genres, I listen to and want to listen to just about anything—rock, pop, hip-hop, instrumental, classical—Western or Japanese.
Before I knew it I’d become a laid-back, almost-forty housewife, but these days I’m trying to build up my stamina so I can keep going to live shows no matter how old I get (lol).
