Masuda Bunka

I started playing in a band in high school.

I studied recording and composition in Osaka and London.

I mainly played guitar, but switched instruments due to an injury.

I currently make tracks for rappers, among other projects.

I also work in translation and writing, focusing on entertainment-related translation such as lyrics and manga, and writing on topics like business and philosophy.

I listen widely across genres in both Western and Japanese music.

I like music that makes you want to move (or that you can chill to).

I tend to focus on lyrics in particular.

I’d love to share deeper ways to enjoy music—like rhyming in English rap or the hidden meanings behind songs.
