Fujita Yosuke
Born in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture, raised in Kagawa.
In 2009, he built a completely self-made pipe organ that brought his imagination to life.
Centering on that DIY pipe organ and his voice (including throat singing such as Tuvan khoomei and Inuit vocal techniques), he seeks new sounds from water, fire, and living organisms, continually incorporating diverse media and phenomena into music.
He presents works across a wide range of fields, including film and animation scores and exhibitions such as sound installations.
He is scheduled to unveil a new sound installation at the Sapporo International Art Festival 2017.
He is currently releasing a new work every month as part of the project “Monthly Symphony,” in which he creates new music at a pace of one piece per month for worldwide distribution.
