Omura Takayoshi

Born December 26, 1983, from Osaka Prefecture. Began piano lessons at age 3; started playing acoustic guitar at 11 under his father’s influence. Took up electric guitar at 14, and at 17 discovered Western hard rock/heavy metal, which profoundly impacted him and became his passion.In 2002, enrolled at MI Japan Osaka as a first-term GIT-DX student.On August 25, 2004, released his first album “Nowhere To Go,” featuring Vitalij Kuprij (ARTENSION) on keyboards/sound production and guest vocalists Richie Kotzen, Mark Boals, and Doogie White.In 2005, formed the band CROSS HARD, released the album “ECLIPSE FROM EAST,” and successfully held a headlining show at Club Citta. Activities were later suspended due to members’ busy schedules.On November 25, 2005, released the guitar-oriented album “POWER OF REALITY,” self-produced by Takayoshi Ohmura, establishing himself firmly as a young guitarist.In 2006, formed GLORIA with Kaoru (formerly of Spiral Free), who had also played bass in CROSS HARD.On August 22, 2007, released “Emotions In Motion,” following the first album with guest appearances by four powerhouse vocalists: Doogie White, Tony Moore, Terry Ilous, and Ted Poley.In 2008, joined Marty Friedman’s solo live performances as a support guitarist, continuing thereafter. Also supported live shows for LOVEFIXER, the unit of Marty Friedman and Shinichiro Suzuki.In 2009, joined the Asia tour (AMIT LIVE TOUR) of Taiwanese diva A-mei (Chang Hui-mei) as a support guitarist.In 2010, joined LIV MOON, led by former Takarazuka star AKANE LIV.In 2011, joined DCPRG, led by Naruyoshi Kikuchi. In May of the same year, accompanied Marty Friedman on a month-long EU tour. On December 25 of the same year, announced his official membership in C4 at their live show at Shinjuku LOFT.On December 24, 2012, released his fourth solo album in five years, “Devils In The Dark,” featuring an array of distinguished guest musicians.On December 26, 2012, held his first solo headlining show in eight years at Meguro Live Station.In May 2014, participated in the double-headliner EU tour “Guitar Universe 2014” with Marty Friedman and Gus G.On September 6, 2014, held a 10th anniversary solo headlining live show at SHIBUYA REX.In July 2015, joined UROBOROS, the super-band formed by former Asriel member Keisuke Kurose.In January 2016, held his fourth solo headlining show at Club 1ne2wo.Currently, alongside his solo work, he is actively involved with C4, LIV MOON, dCprG, Marty Friedman, UROBOROS, and more.iTunes:
