Masuda Bunka

I started playing in bands when I was in high school.

I studied recording and composition in Osaka and London.

I mainly played guitar, but switched instruments due to an injury.

I’m currently making tracks for rappers and more.

I also work in translation and writing, focusing on entertainment-related translation such as lyrics and manga, and writing on business and philosophy.

I listen widely across genres, both Western and Japanese music.

I like music that makes you want to move (or chill out).

I especially pay attention to lyrics.

I’d love to share deeper ways to enjoy music—like rhyme schemes in English rap or the hidden meanings behind songs.
