Masuda Bunka

I started playing in bands in high school.

I studied recording and composition in Osaka and London.

I mainly played guitar, but switched instruments due to an injury.

I’m currently making tracks for rappers and doing translation and writing as well.

I focus on entertainment-related translation like lyrics and manga, and on writing about business and philosophy.

I listen widely across genres, both Western and Japanese music.

I like music that makes you want to move (or that lets you chill).

I tend to pay particular attention to lyrics.

I’d love to introduce deeper ways to enjoy music—like the rhymes in English rap, or the hidden meanings behind songs.
