Masuda Bunka

I started playing in a band in high school.

I studied recording and composition in Osaka and London.

I mainly played guitar, but switched instruments due to an injury.

I now produce tracks for rappers, among other things.

I’m also active in translation and writing—focusing on entertainment-related translation like lyrics and manga, and writing on topics such as business and philosophy.

I listen widely across genres in both Western and Japanese music.

I like music that makes you want to move (or helps you chill).

I tend to pay special attention to lyrics.

I’d love to share deeper ways to enjoy music—like rhyme schemes in English rap, or the hidden meanings behind songs.
