This time, I’ve put together a collection of songs sung by the VOCALOID Nankashi Hime.
Nankashi Hime has the concept of being a plum blossom spirit.
Back then, the release of the paired voicebanks with Nankashi Mikoto became a hot topic.
Her voice is provided by Kotori Koiwai, who is active as a songwriter/composer and as a voice actress.
Her soft singing voice pierces the hearts of listeners!
In this article, while featuring original songs by Nankashi Hime, we’ll also introduce works where she collaborates with Mikoto and other Vocaloids.
Please stay with us until the end!

Masterpieces sung by Naruka Hime: Recommended popular Vocaloid songs (1–10)
Anemone glitchtoripiyo

The wavering, undulating vocal work leaves a strong impression.
This is a signature piece by the Vocaloid producer Toripiyo, released in 2020.
It’s an electric tune that’s cute, somewhat Japanese in flavor, and close to chiptune.
Especially toward the latter half, the vocals function like one of the instruments.
It has a charm that makes you want to keep listening.
While bringing out the cuteness of Nankahime’s singing voice, it’s firmly grounded in the producer’s own musicality—pardon the lofty phrasing, but that’s how I’m compelled to introduce this work.
Tiny Bunnyyou-man

The word “stylish” suits it perfectly.
This piece by Vocaloid producer You-man—also known for hits like “R.I.P.” and “Weenie Walker”—was released in 2020.
Its high-speed sound arrangement, dynamic song development, and uniquely structured melodic lines are captivating.
The sheer coolness is electrifying.
Hime Naruka’s voice is youthful and high-pitched, which fits this kind of cutting-edge musical style.
It’s a Hime track where even the SE-like sounds are woven in, showcasing refined taste down to the smallest details.
Bewitching Factyakatora

From the relentless, hard-hitting intro, it’s unbelievably cool! It’s a track by Vocaloid producer Yakatora, released in 2021.
The aggressive, shadowy sound design is captivating.
I bet a lot of people love this kind of dark, addictive vibe.
The melody sticks in your head after just one listen.
As you keep listening, you’ll find yourself wanting to sing along.
Be sure to turn up the volume and enjoy this song with earphones or headphones!
KazemachigusaInabakumo

A cool rock tune that’s captivating no matter where you cut it.
It’s a piece by Vocaloid producer Inabakumori, also known as the creator of “Lagtrain,” released in 2020.
That steady, neither fully rising nor fully falling sonic character is exactly Inaba’s musical hallmark.
They have an excellent sense of balance in terms of songwriting.
The highly literary lyrics also match the tone of the track well.
The song was written to commemorate the first anniversary of the release of Nalkah Hime and Mikoto.
Drizzleshō

This is a Hime song packed with highlights: sidechained bass, a saturated synth riff, and a rhythmically irregular interlude.
Created by the Vocaloid producer Sho, it was released in 2021.
The sound is urban and punchy, yet the lyrics surprisingly carry a Japanese traditional flavor, and that contrast is irresistible.
The lyrics—projecting feelings for a precious person who’s gone and the regret that follows—tighten your chest; it’s a poignant yet forward-thinking Vocaloid number.
If you’re in the mood for cool EDM, don’t miss it.
bug logShī-kun

It’s a razor-sharp, highly addictive track.
Created by the Vocaloid producer C-kun, known for popular works like “Lo-fi Times” and “Dispel,” it was released in 2019.
That distinctive yet irresistible rhythmic approach is so quintessentially C-kun.
It sounds simple, yet it has depth—an aural landscape you find yourself unable to escape before you even notice.
The more you listen, the more it reveals its flavor.
And of course, the real highlight is the lyrical firepower.
Packed with words that pierce straight into the heart, it’s a heroine number.
MeikaKoiwai Kotori

This is an official song by the so-called person on the inside.
It’s a track by Kotori Koiwai, who works as a voice actress as well as a lyricist and composer, released in 2019.
I touched on this briefly earlier, but Koiwai also provides the voice data for Narukaka Hime and Mikoto.
It’s a rich, Japanese-inspired mixture rock number with a powerful and cool sound.
The call-and-response-like phrases between Hime and Mikoto give it a cute impression, and that contrast is irresistible.
Still… Koiwai really is a multi-talented creator…
