METROPOLITAN ROCK FESTIVAL 2016 Performing Artists (21–30)
In love with Shizukuindigo la End

indigo la End is another band that Enon Kawatani, the frontman of Gesu no Kiwami Otome, takes part in.
This band leans toward straightforward Japanese rock, making it relatively unadorned and easy to listen to.
This song is a mid-tempo ballad with a really nice vibe.
Tokyokinoko teikoku

Kinoko Teikoku is a band that’s really gaining momentum, having just made their major debut in 2015.
Their song Tokyo is incredibly emo and immersive.
It’s great on CD, of course, but I’m sure it will really shine live, so I’m excited to see it on stage that day.
Remmber mekururi

Quruli is a three-piece band from Kyoto Prefecture.
They began their activities in 1996, and this year marks their 20th anniversary.
Their music is full of warmth, with songs that make you feel gentle as you listen.
This particular track especially captures that vibe, making it a song you’ll want to keep listening to.
From Shin-Kiba, the Galaxy RailwayUsotsuki

Usotsuki is a four-member band active since 2011.
They’re a polished, melody-focused group with a classic guitar-rock feel.
This track carries a breezy, refreshing vibe—perfect for a performance at an outdoor festival under clear skies.
phantom vibrationKyūso Nekokami

Kyuso Nekokami commands overwhelming popularity with their uniquely high-energy vibe.
Their appeal lies in catchy songs and amusing themes.
This track, too, takes as its theme the phenomenon known as “phantom vibration,” where you feel your phone vibrating even though it isn’t.
Also, their live shows are an absolute blast, so look forward to them.
