While it was created for Häagen-Dazs’ TV commercial “Honjitsu, Torokeyoubi,” its worldbuilding—depicting the moon’s diverse and complex emotions—also evokes a nostalgic atmosphere.

“Moonlight” is a song by Kuzu, a duo consisting of comedians Tomomitsu Yamaguchi and Hiroyuki Miyasako.

Released as a single in 2001, it reached No.

5 on the Oricon Singles Chart.

It was also used as the ending theme for the comedy show “One-Nine R&R,” which led to the formation of Kuzu.
