The 1000-Person ROCK FES held in Gunma Prefecture is a participatory rock festival! It’s an event where they recruit people to perform together on the day and have a session with 1,000 participants. The sense of freedom of playing outdoors with such a large group must be truly special. It’s the kind of fun event that seems obvious but is surprisingly rare! Each year, set pieces are announced, and anyone who applies can join the performance, so if you’ve ever wanted to play music with a big crowd, be sure to sign up!
