Ashita no JoeIsao Bito

Ashita no Joe is a boxing manga by Asao Takamori and Tetsuya Chiba that drew so much attention that an actual funeral was held when one of the characters, Tōru Rikiishi, died.
Isao Bitō sang the opening theme for the TV anime version.

CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA~Hironobu Kageyama

It’s the opening theme of Dragon Ball Z.
I think many people watched it, men and women alike.
Dragon Ball is a hugely successful anime that has changed series over a long period and has been broadcast worldwide.
Among them, this song is the most iconic to me.
Obake no Q-TaroSusumu Ishikawa

Obake no Q-Taro is a work by Fujiko Fujio that was serialized in Shogakukan magazines, including Weekly Shonen Sunday.
It is a gag manga depicting the misadventures caused by Q-Taro, a big-eating, clumsy ghost.
The theme song for the first TV anime series was sung by Susumu Ishikawa.
I’ll Be The OneH∧L

It’s the opening theme of ‘Hikaru no Go.’ When I listen to this song, I often find myself humming along.
It has a powerful feel to it, but also a touch of sadness.
The vocals are distinctive, and the song really hits you in the heart.
The anime itself gets incredibly tear-jerking toward the end.
MOON PRIDEMomoiro Clover Z

It’s the opening theme of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal.
I don’t usually listen to songs by female idol groups, but this one is different.
Actually, I like Momoclo.
I love how they’re always giving everything their all.
You can feel that in this song, too.
A Night for OnePorno Graffitti

This is the opening theme of GTO.
When it comes to Porno Graffitti, most people think of Apollo or Agehachō, so this one is a bit less well-known, but as soon as you hear it you can tell it’s their song.
It has a catchy rhythm and melody, and the lyrics are great too.
Astro BoyKamitakada Boys Choir

One of Osamu Tezuka’s signature works, Astro Boy, was first adapted into a television anime in January 1963 and went on to run for a full four years.
The opening theme was an instrumental version up through episode 30, and from episode 31 onward it switched to a version sung by the Kamitakada Boys’ Choir.
