Parallel Sweets WorldHidari gawa surasshu

Is the slightly scary image that sweets tend to have because of the fairy tale Hansel and Gretel, or is it because of Halloween? This song follows that trend as well.
The ending is a must-hear, shifting suddenly from the poppiness of sweets, Len Kagamine’s innocent voice, and the cute lyrics.
The way the song unfolds will really take you by surprise, won’t it?
I’m a dad.pikuson

Papa Nandesu, sung by a kids’ song-and-play unit, portrays a dad’s emotions from the birth of his baby up to marriage.
Many dads struggle with raising children in ways different from moms.
They can’t do things as smoothly as moms do, yet they’re full of the desire to connect—and often end up stumbling.
Still, it’s certain they have just as much love for their children as moms.
This song depicts those slightly unreliable yet deeply loving dads who are surely right by your side.
If you’re a dad who’s a bit clumsy and can’t express yourself directly to your child, why not let this song gently convey your feelings?
passion fruitFujifaburikku

Amid the catchiness, there’s an oddly mysterious vibe.
It’s a track released in 2007 as the ninth single.
The crisp guitar sound and the light drum rhythm feel great.
The chorus melody sticks in your head and won’t let go.
Pachinko ManBugī Man

This song is a warning—directed at pachinko players.
When this track was popular, pachinko cost only 4 yen per ball.
That made it highly addictive: once you hit a fever, you could keep winning, which led some people to stop working; then the losses piled up, they turned to borrowing money, and their wives and children ended up in tears.
It might sound like a humorous song, but it isn’t.
Pa mu we oububuzera

Its distinctive worldview and perverse-tinged EDM will seize your heart! This is the eighth track by Vocaloid producer Bubuzela, released in June 2023.
The meticulous yet bold sound arrangement strongly stimulates the listener’s senses, delivering an experience like no other.
The sidechain technique captivates the ear.
The lyrics are filled with expressions that evoke instability and confusion, emphasizing emotional fluctuations and inner conflict.
The journey into the world presented by its intangible narrative isn’t something one listen can satisfy.
It’s an irresistibly charming track you’ll want to play again and again.
Keep an eye on Bubuzela’s talent as they continue to expand the possibilities of music.
PATEPurasutikksu

Plastics were one of the bands known as the “Techno Big Three” in Japan’s 1980s music scene.
Despite an active period of only about five years, they became a legendary group that had a huge influence on later artists.
Aside from the late Masahide Sakuma—one of Japan’s leading music producers and musicians who joined later—the band was made up of unconventional members from outside the music world, such as illustrator Toshio Nakanishi and graphic designer Hajime Tachibana.
Because most of them were amateurs as performers, they incorporated a rhythm box, which naturally led them to create a technopop sound.
Among their many songs that were also popular overseas, let’s highlight Pate, a fan favorite that never appeared on an album.
It was the B-side to the 1980 single good, and features a striking vocal by the sole female member, Chica Sato, who repeatedly chants “piko piko.” It’s a technopop classic you should hear at least once!
