They’re basically fun, but there’s one time that troubles new hires, young employees, and juniors… yes, the “entertainment segment”!

Be sure to use it as a reference when you’re in a pinch!

Entertaining party tricks. Recommended performances and skits for banquets and drinking parties [2026] (31–40)

papercutting

Papercutting – Marky the Papercutter: Reindeer at Year’s End (Paper Cutting Performance)
papercutting

Here’s an introduction to “kamigiri,” a performance you can do with just paper and scissors.

This is truly a skill-based art, so it takes practice, but if you can perform it, it’s sure to make you stand out at any party.

Simply put, you present improvised paper-cut art while talking.

What you say is up to you, but it’s good to touch on the theme—what you’re expressing.

Watching hands move decisively without any preliminary sketch makes you excited, wondering what it will become.

Once you’ve chosen a theme, start by drawing a rough outline at first and practice so you can cut smoothly.

chugging a cola in seconds

Surprisingly, I managed to break two world records for cola.
chugging a cola in seconds

It’s a party trick of chugging cola.

Prepare some cola and a wide-mouthed glass, then open your mouth wide and drink it down in one go… I’m not sure if anyone can actually pull it off, but if you succeed, you’re sure to get a round of applause and become the life of the party.

Spin the bottle

Party trick: simple, instant routine—works with just one wine bottle or beer bottle. Great for a quick gag or showing off a special skill. 2016
Spin the bottle

This is bottle spinning using beer bottles or wine bottles.

Like a baton twirler’s baton, you can spin the bottle around smoothly, or add a snap like in juggling.

At a party, there are usually plenty of alcohol bottles lying around.

If someone asks, “Can you do something fun?” surprise and entertain everyone with bottle spinning.

Just be careful not to drop and break the bottles.

Some practice is essential, but the more you practice, the more people will enjoy it!

Finger tutting

Finger tutting

Finger tutting is a dance that began gaining attention in the United States around 2008 and has since become widely recognized in Japan, using the fingers, wrists, and arms to express a variety of movements.

The waves, geometric shapes, and other patterns are astonishing—hard to believe they’re created with just the hands.

Since it requires no props and doesn’t need a large space like typical dances, it’s perfect for indoor group hangouts.

Why not start practicing steadily now so you’re ready to show it off?

Juggling

[You’ll Definitely Want to Copy These] Explaining the Top 10 Attractive Juggling Tricks! [Freestyle Football]
Juggling

For those with soccer experience, I recommend juggling.

Juggling is one of the fundamental drills for improving ball control and spatial awareness, but it’s also a crowd-pleaser at parties.

Here, we introduce 10 juggling tricks, such as the chest stall—keeping the ball balanced on your shoulder after kicking it up—and the inner–around–heel turn, where you rotate your body after popping the ball up.

Each move looks flashy and cool when you can do it, so give them a try if you like!

Banzai

The proper way to perform a formal banzai cheer
Banzai

Even just doing a banzai can make for a fine performance.

To begin with, “banzai” refers to raising both hands while shouting “banzai.” It’s generally done three times, though there doesn’t seem to be a strict rule.

Because banzai conveys the meaning of celebrating something auspicious, it’s perfect as entertainment for celebratory occasions! By the way, there’s also a stronger expression, “banban-zai.” Why not mix it in when you use it? Alternatively, you could look up the formal hand movements and try doing it in a more authentic way.

TT Brothers

TT Brothers

The star “TT Brothers,” born from the variety show Ariyoshi no Kabe.

They’re characters played by the well-known comedy duo Chocolate Planet, and thanks to the TT Brothers they’ve appeared in lots of commercials.

Why not liven up your party with the TT Brothers everyone knows? Their cosplay is easy to copy—just a T-shirt, wigs, and makeup.

All you have to do after that is find something shaped like a “T” at the venue and end it with a drawn-out “Teeee.” If there’s no object, a person’s name works too—if someone named Takeda is there, you can do “Takeda-san’s Teeee,” and it lands.

It’s a recommended bit for anyone unsure what to do!
