Crescent Moon PicnicSEBASTIAN X

Included as the fourth track on the 2013 second album “POWER OF NOISE.” It features a slightly idiosyncratic yet soaring vocal, pounding piano, a guitar-less yet punk and powerful rock sound, and highly literary lyrics—its appeal lies in all of these.
It’s a song that gives you energy on sleepless nights.
Unfortunately, they went on hiatus in 2015.
The World of AiBando ja nai mon!

Its lyrics, with a unique worldview, are particularly appealing.
Formed in early 2011 as the idol project of Misako “Misako” Suzuhime, the drummer of Shinsei Kamattechan.
A talented act that also participated in LINDBERG’s tribute album.
Smile, happy, peace♪Ryūgū Rena (Nakahara Mai)

Included on the 2007 release “Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Character CD VOL.1 Rena Ryugu × Keiichi Maebara and Kuraudo Oishi.” A character song for Rena Ryugu, voiced by Mai Nakahara in the TV anime “Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.” Her cute singing voice suddenly flips midway through the track, and the dramatic transformation in her performance gives you chills.

DERRINGERBLANKEY JET CITY

Included on the 14th single released in 1998, “SWEET DAYS/DERRINGER.” It’s a double A-side.
I think it’s a perfect track for the Halloween season.
Bassist Toshiyuki Terui prefers “SWEET DAYS,” while frontman Kenichi Asai and drummer Tatsuya Nakamura prefer “DERRINGER,” so it might be fun to compare the two.
They sadly disbanded in 2000.

Ice cream meltin’ mellowPizzicato Five

Included as the sixth track on their ninth album, “Romantique 96,” released in 1995.
It’s a song that makes you want to stroll through the city while eating ice cream—something you could enjoy even in a sunshower.
The vocalist is Maki Nomiya, the group’s third-generation singer.
They took the 1990s by storm as part of the “Shibuya-kei” scene.
The group disbanded in 2001.
+gothic Pink+Tommy heavenly6

Included as the 6th track on the 1st album “Tommy heavenly6,” released in 2005.
Perfect for the Halloween season.
The Japanese translation of the lyrics is dark yet cute.
The 3rd track on the 4th single “I’m Gonna SCREAM+” features a Melancholic Guitar Version, so it’s also recommended to compare the arrangements.
