This is the BGM that plays during the battle with Dark Dialga, the final boss of the sequels to Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Red Rescue Team—namely Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness—as well as Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky.

This is the BGM for the final battle against Red at the summit of Mt.
Silver.
It’s also used for the Champion Lance battle in “Bug – Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.” The sense of urgency befitting a battle theme comes through right from the intro.
It’s a BGM worthy of being called a masterpiece.

This is the BGM that plays near the end of Gym Leader battles in Pokémon Black and White and their sequels, Black 2 and White 2, in the Unova region.
It kicks in when the opponent is down to their last Pokémon, so hearing this track probably gives many players that extra push to hang in there, doesn’t it?

Junichi Masuda, Director of Development and a board member at Game Freak Inc., wrote on his blog that the name “N” comes from the word ‘Natural number.’ The piece was created around the theme of “natural numbers greater than 1,” with a focus on prime numbers.
