Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla: “Prayer of Miyarabi”

This is the theme song from the film Godzilla vs.

Mechagodzilla, released in March 1974.

In the story, the song is sung by Nami Kunigami, played by Bervera Lynn, and it awakens King Caesar, the guardian deity of Okinawa.

Note: “Miyarabi” means “maiden.”

This is a single by Hideki Saijo, released in October 1980.

It reached No.

It has also been performed with the Paul Mauriat Grand Orchestra.

It was used as the opening theme for the TV anime ‘Cross Ange: Rondo of Angel and Dragon’ from episodes 13 to 25.

Hazy Moonlit Night — PrayerNakajima Mika

It’s the title track of Mika Nakashima’s mini-album “Oborozukiyo ~Inori,” released in September 2004, and it was used in a soft drink commercial.

Violinist Taro Hakase contributed to the composition.

It reached No.

3 on the Oricon chart.

Maiden’s PrayerZa Pīnattsu

This is a song by The Peanuts released in February 1960.

It features extensive arrangements based on the original piece by Polish composer Tekla Bądarzewska.

The arrangements were done by Koichi Sugiyama, who at the time worked for Fuji Television.

Red ConcertoSawashiro Miyuki

It’s one of the character songs from “Go! Princess Precure,” sung by Miyuki Sawashiro, who played Towa Akagi/Cure Scarlet.

It is included on the album “Go! Princess Precure Vocal Album 1: Strongly, Gently, Beautifully,” released in July 2015.
