Notably, Chiemi Chiba also appears in the anime itself as a voice actress.

This is a single by Maaya Sakamoto released in April 1996.

It was used as the opening theme for the TV anime The Vision of Escaflowne, in which she also appeared.

Although Maaya Sakamoto was not very well known at the time, this brought her increased popularity.
