Debuting in 2014 and now active under the group name AKMU, Akdong Musician is a South Korean brother-sister pop duo.
Before their debut, they participated in K-pop Star, where, despite their modest performance style, they received high praise from the judges and won the competition—demonstrating their highly regarded talent.
They also showed strong principles by signing with an entertainment agency on the condition that they would not undergo plastic surgery, stating that “the way we are now is the best.”
