Crystal Lake Popular Songs Ranking [2026] (1–10)
MatrixCrystal Lake8rank/position

This is a song I personally like a lot.
The drum phrases get me hyped right from the start, and the lyrics are great too.
I can’t get enough of that chugging guitar feel.
I heard it once at Knotfest and it was amazing.
It’s so fun when a hardcore pit breaks out during the death growl parts.
SanctuaryCrystal Lake9rank/position

Formed in 2002, Crystal Lake is the band that truly represents Japan’s metalcore scene in both name and reality.
From their early days, they actively toured not only in Japan but overseas as well, and they’ve now become a band that fires up audiences around the world.
While rooted in classic metalcore, their wide-ranging sound sometimes evokes the late-’90s loud rock movement, and at other times reveals a modern technical metal edge.
It’s fair to say they embody Japanese metalcore itself.
A Crisis To The ExistenceCrystal Lake10rank/position

It feels like a very typical way for a song to start, but I personally like the guitar chord progression.
The track itself is cool, but the vocals in this piece are very disappointing.
I can’t understand a word they’re saying.
The shouts aren’t good either.

Black And Blue feat. JESSECrystal Lake11rank/position

This is a collaborative track with Jesse, the guitarist-vocalist of RIZE and The BONEZ.
Perhaps thanks to the collaboration with Jesse, it’s quite laid-back.
Maybe it’s tailored to match Jesse’s rap style.
Still, it’s a song that practically says, “Crystal Lake can pull this off too.”
Body Movin’Crystal Lake12rank/position

It starts off like a DJ or rap track—something that makes everyone want to jump.
The song features prominent double bass drumming.
The rests are used in a really nice way.
Then a guitar phrase comes in that evokes traditional Japanese folk music.
It’s quite fun to listen to.
There’s also a sudden key change, which works really well.
Breathe DeepCrystal Lake13rank/position

I love the distorted bass at the beginning of the track.
It’s so cool.
Usually, when a song starts with a distorted bass solo, it tends to get intense from there, so I braced myself—but it turned out to be a stylish track instead.
I was surprised.
It’s unusually calm for Crystal Lake.
HadesCrystal Lake14rank/position

It’s the kind of track that would make foreigners suddenly start headbanging and going hardcore.
If they played it overseas, it’d probably be a nonstop hardcore storm.
There’d definitely be injuries, too.
It’s an aggressively evil song.
This is exactly what Crystal Lake is all about.
