Recognizer (Astronaut Cult Club Edit)Daft Punk16rank/position

Daft Punk is a French electronic duo formed in 1993 that announced their breakup in 2021.
Their music has had a major impact, including in Japan, where “One More Time” has been used in numerous commercials.
“Recognizer” is a track from the 2010 soundtrack for Tron: Legacy, and it was featured in the Audi TT “Landing” commercial.
Its dignified, powerful sound, together with the solemn atmosphere that colors the film’s world, is incredibly impactful.
It feels like it could burst out at any moment and is sure to lift your spirits when you want to get fired up.

Starting with a scene where they each get ready—Margot Robbie heading out by car and Jacob Elordi by motorcycle—this is the Chanel N°5 commercial “A rendez-vous.” You wonder where they’re both going, only to find that they actually pass each other along the way and are headed to each other’s homes.
Margot Robbie’s spontaneous smile when she realizes this is particularly striking.
By the way, as she gets ready, Margot Robbie casually applies N°5.
The background music is Daft Punk’s “Veridis Quo,” a track from their 2001 album Discovery—an instrumental number with distinctive synth sounds that evokes a near-futuristic feel.
WithinDaft Punk18rank/position

Daft Punk, the French electro duo that represents their country, have worked across a wide range of electronic music, including techno and trance.
Sadly, they disbanded in 2021, but their popularity remains strong.
A dark masterpiece of theirs that I’d like to recommend is Within.
Its lyrics abstractly pursue the question of “Who am I?”, and the melody is so achingly sad that it tightens your chest even if you don’t understand the words.

It was released in 2016 and performed at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
It has been covered by artists such as Fablo.
