Def Leppard Popular Song Rankings [2026] (1–10)
Work It OutDef Leppard8rank/position

This is a slightly languid-feeling rock song included on an album by Def Leppard, a band that had churned out numerous major hits.
On this album, they shifted from their previous catchy direction to a more rock-oriented sound, used live drums in the production, and sparked mixed reactions.
HysteriaDef Leppard9rank/position

Included on the 1987 album Hysteria.
A five-piece rock band from England formed in 1977.
The mid-tempo rhythm driven by digital drum tones, along with the beautiful choral harmonies and melodies uncharacteristic of a hard rock band, make it very easy on the ears and instantly captivating.
Let’s GoDef Leppard10rank/position

Def Leppard is a rock band from England.
They rose to popularity during the NWOBHM movement and achieved especially great success in the 1980s.
Among their songs, a track I particularly recommend is Let’s Go.
It kicks off with a heavy bass and a striking guitar riff, but then proceeds with a fairly understated feel.
There’s a key change in the hook, but it’s not abrupt, so it remains very easy to listen to.
Be sure to check it out.

Lets Get RockedDef Leppard11rank/position

This is the opening track of DEF LEPPARD’s fifth album, Adrenalize, by the UK band.
It’s a quintessentially DEF LEPPARD mid‑tempo song—poppy yet heavy.
In terms of sound design, it carries on from their previous smash-hit album, Hysteria, offering meticulously crafted production and thick, layered backing vocals.
While that reflects the band’s strong songwriting and arranging chops, I can’t help but feel that much of the credit also goes to Robert John “Mutt” Lange, who participated as executive producer.
It’s a classic that hasn’t faded with time.
Personally, I’ve been greatly influenced by DEF LEPPARD’s production approach, so this is one of my absolute favorites!
Have You Ever Needed Someone So BadDef Leppard12rank/position

A passionate love song by Def Leppard, who have released numerous blockbuster albums.
Within a sound design that evokes a slightly ambient atmosphere, Joe Elliott begins singing gently, then gradually builds in passion, making it deeply moving.
High ‘n’ Dry (Saturday Night)Def Leppard13rank/position

The title track of Def Leppard’s second album, High ’n’ Dry, released in 1981 by the hard rock band from Sheffield, England, is a classic that brilliantly captures the excitement and sense of freedom of a weekend night.
Featuring an energetic sound that fuses elements of hard rock and heavy metal, its tightly interwoven guitar riffs and rhythm section create a powerful performance that draws listeners in.
The song has received high acclaim, ranking 33rd on VH1’s “40 Greatest Metal Songs,” and it continues to be cherished as one of Def Leppard’s signature tracks.
Forget about tomorrow—crank it up and enjoy it at full blast at a midsummer night party!
Pour Some Sugar On Me – Remastered 2017Def Leppard14rank/position

Kicking off with a shout and an intro driven by heavy, tight drums and bass and a massive guitar sound, this is an ultra-cool classic by Def Leppard, one of the UK’s premier hard rock bands.
Released in 1987, it appears on the album Hysteria, which achieved the astonishing feat of selling over 25 million copies.
The melody is simple yet unforgettable.
According to vocalist Joe Elliott, this song is “the one that defines us, and the one best known around the world.”
