Hero: Poem of FateEGOIST15rank/position

A soul-stirring EGOIST track featuring grand orchestral sounds and intense choir.
It was produced in August 2017 as the opening theme for the hugely popular anime Fate/Apocrypha.
The lyrics, which strikingly mirror the protagonist’s resolve to fight on as a hero despite bearing an inescapably harsh fate, leave a strong impression.
The song was later included on the best album GREATEST HITS 2011-2017 “ALTER EGO.” Doesn’t it make you feel the courage to accept your destiny and keep moving forward?

The theme song for the anime film “The Empire of Corpses.” It’s one of the original full-length novels left behind by Keikaku Ito, a novelist who died young at 34.
The Empire of Corpses was completed by his close friend Tow Ubukata… actually by his ally Toh EnJoe, who continued writing from the 30-page prologue Ito left.
The intro evokes a sense of melancholy—almost something you might hear in jazz.
It’s a wonderful piece that perfectly matches the fantastical world of The Empire of Corpses.

This is a song included as the 7th track on the 1st album, “Extra terrestrial Biological Entities.” I like the way the word “suki” (“I like you”/“love”) is whispered now and then.
It feels like it expresses their feelings for Shu just as they are.
Lovely Icecream Princess SweetieEGOIST18rank/position

This is a track included as the fifth song on the 1st album, “Extra terrestrial Biological Entities.” It’s an up-tempo piece that draws you in more and more the more you listen.
It really has that quintessential ‘girl’s song’ feel, which is nice.

The ending theme of the anime Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.
This one is a collaboration between Aimer and Chelly (EGOIST).
With Hiroyuki Sawano composing, it has a cool, polished finish.
I’m looking forward to the anime, but the video for ninelie (Short Ver.) unfolds a fantastical world that seems to depict the birth of the universe and galaxies.
It never gets boring to watch, so I’m curious about the full-length video.
If the condition is EGOIST only, this might be ineligible, but I wanted to introduce it anyway.

The coupling track to “Nameless Monster.” Its gossip-tinged style carries a heartrending melody and lyrics that feel like a lament, piercing the heart.
It’s a song that’s a complete 180 from “Nameless Monster.” It left me with the impression of fantastical lyrics.

The Lamp of Original SinEGOIST21rank/position

This is the first track on the 1st album, “Extra terrestrial Biological Entities.” It’s a song that really feels like Inori, starting with a cappella.
Since it’s a slow song, it resonates deeply with the heart.
From the very first track of the album, it completely captures you.
