It was released in 1997 as GLAY’s 12th single.

The song became GLAY’s first million seller and was used as the ending theme for the TBS drama “Ryodatsugai: Abunai Onna” (Stolen Love: Dangerous Woman).

Since 2010, it has been featured in commercials for Nissin Foods’ Cup Noodles.

SOUL LOVEGLAY9rank/position

It was released in 1998 as GLAY’s 14th single.

The song was used for Kanebo’s “Bronze Love ’98 Summer” campaign, and, released simultaneously with “Yuuwaku” (“Temptation”), the two singles achieved the remarkable feat of monopolizing the top two spots for two consecutive weeks.

The lyrics and music were written by TAKURO, and it is said the song was completed in ten minutes.

Winter,againGLAY10rank/position

This commercial promotes the idea that using Car Sensor might help you find your ideal car, set against a snowy landscape.

The version featuring only Nanao conveys a wintry mood, while the version that also includes Ryuji Akiyama and Kotaro Yoshida adds a touch of comedy in the finer details.

The song that accentuates the snowy atmosphere is GLAY’s “Winter, again.” Although the music video imagery recreated in the commercial strongly evokes the cold of winter, the sound and vocals are intense, leaving the impression of a burning passion that persists in the cold.

An angel’s shareGLAY11rank/position

A GLAY rock tune that delivers a jolt from the very first intro.

It was used in the commercial for the Chevrolet Cruze.

I still remember how stunned I was back then by how cool it was.

The mature romance in TAKURO’s signature style—like blending love with the “angel’s share,” the portion of whiskey that evaporates—is captivating, and TERU’s sexy vocals and the guitars are absolutely top-tier too! So cool! Even though it’s a 2004 track, it still feels fresh after all these years.

A second that calls itself eternityGLAY12rank/position

This is a commercial introducing Seicomart’s 2024 Christmas cakes, produced by the convenience store chain that mainly operates in Hokkaido.

After a series of shots featuring delicious-looking cakes, the ad highlights an early-bird reservation discount.

The background music is by GLAY, a band from Hokkaido, featuring “Eien wo Nanoru Ichibyou” (One Second That Calls Itself Eternity), which has been chosen as Seicomart’s Christmas season commercial song since 2021.

Beginning with lyrics that evoke winter townscapes in Hokkaido, the song portrays the earnest feelings of lovers who care for each other—a winter love song that warms the heart as you listen.
