A four-man male vocal group formed in Fukushima Prefecture, GReeeeN continues an unprecedented path, with every member balancing careers as both dentists and artists.
This track, included on their 3rd album “Shio, Kosho,” was also used as an insert song on the variety show “Sekai no Mura de Hakken! Konna Tokoro ni Nihonjin” (“Finding Japanese People in Remote Corners of the World”).
Its catchy melody and cool rap riding on a driving beat perfectly match the feel of travel, where anything can happen.
With an ensemble and guitar solo that evoke rock ’n’ roll and boost your spirits, it’s a rock tune that makes you want to sing along.
Rain SongGReeeeN58rank/position

Sung from a woman’s perspective who feels his feelings slipping away from her, GReeeeN’s “Ame Uta” is heartbreakingly poignant.
It was released in 2013 as the coupling track to the single “Icarus,” and it reached No.
8 on the Oricon Singles Chart.
The lyrics—“The rain that once felt like the happiness of us huddled together now feels like my own tears”—are especially heartrending.
The song starts softly, the chorus grows powerful, and the finale soars in high tones.

GReeeeN’s 15th single, “Misenai Namida wa, Kitto Itsuka,” which was chosen as the theme song for the drama “Strawberry Night” starring Yuko Takeuchi, is a piece that offers comfort to those grappling with loneliness and inner struggles.
The climax, which concludes with the line “Because a day will come when you can smile,” is moving enough to bring a lump to your throat just by listening.
When playing it on the piano, it would be wonderful to fully sing out the soul-stirring melody and shape it into an expressive, emotionally resonant performance.

Introducing “Popopopopose” by Mr.
Green, a big hit on NHK’s “Inai Inai Baa!” The sounds pa-pi-pu-pe-po have a magical feel that captivates children.
This song is packed with “p” sounds in the lyrics, making it fun both to listen to and to sing.
Plus, it incorporates rock-paper-scissors, which four-year-olds love, so kids can dance as if they’re playing.
Matching the choreography to the lyrics allows for full-body expression and makes it really engaging.
If you include a section where children can move freely with their favorite poses, their individuality will shine through, creating a dance that’s enjoyable for the audience as well.

HEROESGReeeeN61rank/position

This is a song I especially want those who keep failing and thinking “I’m worthless…” to hear.
It’s a track by GReeeeN, the popular music group behind hits like “Kiseki,” released in 2013 as their 21st single.
It drew attention for being chosen as the theme song for the drama “Detarame Hero.” The characteristically positive lyrics and catchy sound arrangement are memorable.
It’s an encouraging anthem that seems particularly effective for failures in romantic relationships.
If a quarreling couple listens to it, they might rediscover how important their partner is.
IcarusGReeeeN62rank/position

This is a song that was used for a Calpis Soda commercial.
The title “Icarus” refers to a figure from Greek mythology, and the story from that myth appears at the beginning of the lyrics.
The lyrics, which encourage a friend, are very powerful and uplifting.

This is a song written specifically for the 2017 film “Kiseki: Ano Hi no Sobito,” starring Masaki Suda and Tori Matsuzaka.
The movie portrays the origins of the music group GReeeeN, and uses songs they had previously released as insert tracks.
The four actors who played the members also made their debut as the unit Green Boys.
