How about a rock track that blends a sense of impatience with headlong momentum, written and composed by the singer-songwriter Minami? It’s a piece released in May 2024 as the solo song for Temari Tsukimura, an idol who appears in the smartphone game “Gakuen Idolmaster.” In addition to Minami, Katsuhiro Mafune also took part in the arrangement, giving it a distinctive, full-bodied band sound.

The lyric-dense lines that spill out anxiety and inner conflict strike powerfully at the listener’s heart.

It’s also included on the single CD released in August 2024, making it a track you’ll want to keep close at hand.

Give it a listen when you feel stuck, unable to believe in yourself, or on a lonely night.

You’re sure to feel the courage to move forward welling up inside you.

Hatsuboshi Academy, which debuted in the idol training game “Gakuen Idolmaster.” Released as a class song by Year 1, Class 1, this number features an irresistible aggressive rock sound with hints of traditional Japanese melodies.

Its lyrics, which sing of an unwavering focus on the very top and a thirst for absolute victory, ignite the listener’s fighting spirit.

The track was unveiled in August as the official song for the real-world event “Class Showdown: Hatsuboshi Grand Sports Festival,” to be held in September 2025, and is included on the compilation CD “Class Showdown: Hatsuboshi Grand Sports Festival SONG COLLECTION.” Put it on when you need to fire yourself up, and it will give you the courage to take that final step.

This work is irresistibly packed with overwhelming energy and a exhilarating sense of speed, evoking fireworks launching one after another into the night sky.

Don’t you think Jin’s catchy melodies and the power of the live band sound will seize listeners’ hearts? The worldview, which seems to depict a rivalry where each side pushes the other higher, is pure youth itself! It’s a song by Begrazia, a unit from the game “Gakuen Idolmaster,” included on their first single released in November 2025.

It’s the perfect track for moments when you want to raise your spirits at a crucial turning point or fire yourself up.

Why not ride its powerful beat and charge up your energy for tomorrow?

Gakuen Idolmaster is popular among teens and people in their twenties.

Many of my students play this game, and a lot of them have sung its songs in lessons.

This time, Star‑mine isn’t a solo track but a unit song! Overall, the key is comfortable for female voices, but the highest note is a high G# (G#5), which appears at the end of the chorus.

Hitting a high G# after continuous singing is quite challenging, but aim to produce it entirely in head voice—imagine sending the sound thinly upward, as if from above your head straight up—and make sure to support it with solid breath flow.

If it’s hard to do within the song, first practice producing just this note on its own.

Since it’s an idol song, it could be fun to gather fans of Gakumasu and split the parts! Enjoy singing it!

If you want to feel your core shaken by dance music with thunderous low end, this is the one for you! Written, composed, and arranged by siqlo, this track distills the intense theme of possessiveness into music.

Its sweet yet dangerous worldview that refuses to let the other slip away is addictive—you’ll find it stuck in your head after a single listen.

Released in January 2026 in conjunction with Misuzu Hataya’s story and gacha in the game “Gakuen Idolmaster,” it actually debuted as a surprise performance at a live show in May 2025, sparking major buzz among fans at the time.

Perfect for nights when you want to soak in powerful emotions or dive into a world of your own.

Surrender to the overwhelming sound pressure and you’re guaranteed to get hyped!

Unhappy LightHatsuboshi Gakuen27rank/position

A quiet, gentle pop song that delicately portrays a girl’s emotions as she walks in search of a faint light.

Sung by Temari Tsukimura of First Star Academy, “Unhappy Light” was released in March 2025.

Its calm melody and soft, tender vocals beautifully capture the subtle feelings of searching for light in the darkness.

Even while torn between dreams and reality, you can feel the inner strength of someone trying to face forward.

It’s a work that keeps you company on lonely nights.

It’s a pop song themed around a special winter day.

It’s a related work from the idol-training game “Gakuen Idolmaster,” performed by three members of Hatsuboshi Academy and released as a digital single in November 2024.

The song powerfully expresses feelings for a special someone during the season when our breath turns white.

Those emotions for the other person are conveyed with a sense of happiness, and listening to it really makes your heart race.

It’s perfect to listen to before a winter date or when you’re thinking about confessing your feelings to someone you like.
