[High Schoolers] Karaoke Songs That Are Easy to Sing Ranking [2026] (71–80)
phantom thiefback number78rank/position

A digital-only single by back number released in 2021.
Since it was used as the theme song for the drama “Koi wa Deep ni,” many of you may have heard it on TV.
It’s a bright, upbeat track with an easy-to-follow tempo, which I think makes it very singable for high school students as well.
Vocalist Shimizu skillfully switches between chest voice, falsetto, and head voice, so reproducing the same expression does require a fair amount of vocal technique.
If you’re not confident in that area, try lowering the key in karaoke.
I’m sure you’ll still enjoy singing it!
Blue Springback number79rank/position

This is the seventh single by the Japanese rock band back number, released in November 2012.
I chose this song because it has a light, medium-tempo feel that seems easy to sing.
But listening again, the vocalist, Shimizu, has quite impressive singing ability.
He doesn’t have a superhuman range or a voice and projection that overwhelms listeners with a single note.
However, his handling of the fairly wide interval leaps in the chorus is noteworthy.
For those who aren’t confident singers, lowering the key might be essential to sing this at karaoke.
Before singing, it’s best to listen carefully to the original, study the breathing points and set an appropriate key.
If possible, memorizing the lyrics beforehand may also make it easier to sing.
I want to make you say you love me.IZ*ONE80rank/position

Released in February 2019, this is the debut song of IZ*ONE, a joint idol group from South Korea and Japan.
As you’d expect from an idol song, it’s a quintessential track that anyone can easily sing along to and enjoy.
It also features a slightly wistful melody that’s very appealing, so get your friends together and have fun singing it!

THANXWANIMA81rank/position

A heartwarming masterpiece by WANIMA, a band that has become a national favorite—performing at the Kouhaku Uta Gassen and in high demand at festivals across the country.
This song has been a cherished part of their live shows since before WANIMA’s big breakthrough.
Its perfectly balanced blend of straightforward, slightly bittersweet lyrics and an irresistibly bright melody makes it a classic.
It’s the perfect song to sing at karaoke when you want to say thank you to a friend.
Bad B*tch Aesthetic Remix (Prod. Chaki Zulu)Awich, NENE, LANA, MaRI, AI & YURIYAN RETRIEVER82rank/position

Awich is a great rapper who could be said to carry not just the female side but the entire Japanese hip-hop scene on her back.
Many high school girls probably look up to her, don’t they? Among her tracks, the one I especially recommend is “Bad B*tch Bigaku Remix (Prod.
Chaki Zulu).” Her music has strong old-school and middle-school characteristics, so even if you’re not used to rapping, it should be easy to perform.
Try singing with a staccato feel and be mindful of adding dynamics to your flow.
Crimson Lotus FlowerLiSA83rank/position

It features a powerful rock sound and LiSA’s clear, crystalline vocals.
The lyrics portray the courage to face hardship and find hope amid battle, filled with a positive message that even elementary school students can relate to.
With a simple, easy-to-remember melody line and lyrics that express emotion straightforwardly, it’s beloved as a karaoke staple.
Chosen as the opening theme for the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba from April 2019, it was also performed spectacularly at NHK’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen in December 2020.
Its singable vocal range and simple melody make it perfect for music classes and school events.
It’s also recommended for when you want to get excited with friends at karaoke or sing together with everyone.
star performerKing Gnu84rank/position

This is the sixth single by King Gnu, a popular Japanese mixture rock band, released in December 2020.
If you can sing this song stylishly at karaoke, you might become popular among your fellow high school students! There aren’t any particularly difficult parts in terms of vocal technique, but since the song is delivered at a pretty fast, rapid-fire pace, be careful with your diction! If possible, it might be better to memorize the lyrics and sing without looking at the screen.
For the A-melody part, try singing in a style somewhere between singing and rapping for an even cooler vibe.
