Hitsujibungaku Popular Song Ranking [2026] (1–10)
mild daysHitsuji Bungaku8rank/position

Hitsujibungaku is a three-piece female band, and it seems that vocalist Moeka Shiozuka mainly writes the lyrics and composes.
The new song “mild days” also features beautifully tight harmonies! What seems like the B section might actually be the chorus, but from there she sings an octave higher, layering softly, and the atmosphere shifts all at once.
She also sings upper harmonies while taking the line an octave up, so at first you might not notice and end up singing the whole thing an octave higher.
But if you practice carefully while listening closely to the vocals, you’ll pick up the knack quickly! The song is also on the shorter side at about three minutes, and the repeating melody makes it easy to memorize.

The double single “Feel/mild days.” These songs are used as the opening and ending themes for the TV anime Silent Witch: The Secret of the Silent Witch, which started airing in July 2025! This time, I’ll introduce “Feel.” The tempo of this track is on the slower side, so I think you’ll be able to sing it in a generally calm manner.
The beginning of the pre-chorus is a bit fast, but you’ll be fine if you use your body well to keep the rhythm.
Also, the high notes in the chorus and bridge will definitely be painful if you belt them, so focus on humming and constantly resonating through your nose and head.
For humming, it becomes easier if you imagine lightly resonating around your brow and head overall.
Once you get used to it, try turning it into your singing voice while keeping the resonance in the same place.
You’ll find it easier to relax and sing lightly!

Starting with a muffled guitar tone, this song is a beautiful number that captures Hitsujibungaku’s signature shadowed atmosphere.
The shoegaze- and dream pop-like weightlessness evokes a fantastical winter landscape.
The essay-like lyrics—featuring characters like “she,” “he,” “us,” and “you”—overlap with calm, finely crafted melodies, gently carrying you into a wintry world.
A he like a winter bird, human relationships linked like the yarn of a scarf, and in the end, it’s all a dream.
It’s a winter song that leaves the lingering afterglow of a single beautiful story—lovely, yet a little bittersweet when it ends.

The song “Inori” by Hitsujibungaku is a masterpiece brimming with Moeka Shiozuka’s dynamic sensibility.
Since they began full-scale activity as a trio in 2017, Hitsujibungaku has captivated listeners with profound lyrics and a distinctive sonic world.
In this work, references to “you” are drawn through solitary moments wrapped in the quiet of night; while some expressions may seem detached at first glance, the lyrics also convey a sense of quiet salvation that is truly wonderful.
It’s especially recommended for those who want to listen alone on introspective nights or for anyone seeking emotional support.
Love? (As if.)Hitsuji Bungaku12rank/position

“Koi Nante” by Hitsujibungaku vividly captures the pain that lingers in everyday life after a romance ends, as well as the lingering attachment to a former lover.
It’s the closing track on their EP “Zawameki,” released in February 2020, and has continued to be cherished by fans as a hidden gem.
The steady, understated beat instead highlights emotional instability, tightening the listener’s chest.
As vocalist Moeka Shiotsuka has said, she set out to write a love song, and the lyrics delicately portray those contradictory feelings—trying to accept a breakup while still harboring a faint hope.
On a night when you want to quietly reflect on the end of a love, why not listen to it alone and take it in?
Young PeopleHitsuji Bungaku13rank/position

Hitsujibungaku is a three-piece rock band that delicately portrays the struggles of youth through sound.
This work sings of a devoted love that, even while burdened with the loneliness and anxiety felt amid the city’s bustle, strives to make it through the night with someone dear.
From a quiet opening it gradually builds in heat, culminating in a breathtaking surge of guitar that explodes with emotion in the latter half.
It’s the closing track of their first album, “To the Young,” released in July 2018 during their indie days, and the music video’s featuring of Moeka Shiozuka’s dance teacher also drew attention.
Though it runs over six minutes, its careful tracing of emotional waves is sure to resonate deeply with listeners.
Try singing it slowly and fully on nights when you want to share a burning feeling, or when everyday life has left you a little tired.
GO!!!Hitsuji Bungaku14rank/position

The 2024 commercial “100 PROMISE” for Shuto Iko, Osaka Isen, and Nagoya Isen.
It’s a commercial that presents the schools’ beliefs, featuring actual scenes from the schools and Miyu Ogawa dancing against a sunset backdrop.
The rock tune playing in the background is Hitsujibungaku’s “GO!!!.” While the heavily distorted guitar sound is striking, the clean, resonant vocals are equally memorable in this track.
