Momoiro Clover Z Popular Songs Ranking [2026]

Momoiro Clover Z, which started with six members, is now down to four.

But each of them has a strong, bright personality, and even as four, their power hasn’t changed! I’ve gathered some of Momoclo’s popular songs.

Listen a lot and dance a lot!

Melodic punk over 200 BPM! With blazing-fast two-beat drums and satisfying distorted guitars, it’s truly a song made for live shows.

As you can tell from Reni-chan’s line, “I’m really mad, you know!”, the intensity is on full display.

This idol-meets-hip-hop track was crafted by MURO, a Japanese hip-hop MC active since 1986.

Unusually for Momoclo, it features a sparse sound with few layers, allowing the members’ individual personalities to stand out.

At live shows, you can see Mononofu fans enjoying it while swaying side to side.

This is Momoclo’s cover of Nami Tamaki’s song, well-known as the third opening theme of the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED.

A rap section is added toward the end, which will likely surprise anyone familiar with the original.

As the title is derived from the “Five Aggregates” (goun)—the five elements that constitute the human body and mind—the song incorporates a Buddhist sensibility.

The lyrics also contain several touches that evoke Buddhism.

With taiko drummer Shuichi Hidano participating, it’s finished with a Japanese-style rock flavor.

Released in July 2011, this is the first work after the group changed its name from “Momoiro Clover” to “Momoiro Clover Z.” It not only lifts your spirits but also showcases the unique, “Momoclo-style” way of energizing you.

It was also used as a commercial song for Tokyo Joypolis.

Pro-wrestling elements pop up here and there in the song—both in the lyrics and the choreography.

It’s another track that really hypes up the crowd live, but if you dance to it seriously you’ll start feeling dizzy.

The fact that the Momoclo girls sing while dancing to this is pretty impressive.

Keep an eye out for the Muto pose.

This is the song chosen as the theme for the drama “Cheat: Scammers, Beware.” It features a distinctly rock sound that you wouldn’t expect from an idol track.

The lyrics deliver a powerful message about the importance of living true to yourself, and they’re really cool.

Highly recommended for women who love passionate, high-energy songs.
