Fight is an unforgettable song featuring Chisato Moritaka’s charming, slightly nasal vocal tone.
Released in 1991 as her 14th single, Moritaka is a singer-songwriter who writes both lyrics and music, and this track was chosen as the image song for the 1991 Volleyball World Cup.
Its melody is poppy and instantly catchy, and just listening to it gives you energy.
The lyrics cheer on people who give their all in sports with repeated cries of “Fight,” offering support to everyone working hard in sports, whether they’re in the spotlight or not.

Lovely birthdayMoritaka Chisato3rank/position

Released in 1994 and featured as the CF song for Asahi Draft Beer “Z,” this is Chisato Moritaka’s “Suteki na Tanjobi” (“A Lovely Birthday”).
It’s a very sweet birthday song for lovers, about waiting for a beloved partner to come home while cooking their favorite dishes.
I imagine many women spent the day in just the same way while listening to this song back then.
And if the person by your side now is the same partner from those days, it might be lovely to listen to this song together on the next birthday.
