Song of the SkafinNakamura Kaho8rank/position

This is a song Kaho Nakamura wrote specifically for the commercial and web video for Pocari Sweat’s returnable bottles.

The overlapping of a restlessly pulsating sound with a floating, unhurried vocal creates a mysterious world.

Since the commercial depicts future-focused initiatives using returnable bottles through a fantastical cutout-style animation, you can also sense that the song’s distinctive sonorities and atmosphere carry a near-futuristic image.

With its brisk pacing and unconventional structure, the track gradually draws you into its world.

March of 365 StepsNakamura Kaho

The original song is a single released in 1968 by Kiyoko Suizenji.

This piece is a cover of that historic classic by Kaho Nakamura.

The original conveyed a sense of hope, as if moving forward step by step.

In this version, the gentle, whisper-like arrangement adds a warmth that feels like someone staying by your side and supporting you, in addition to the original message of hope for the future.

It’s a song that makes you reflect on the importance of human connection—something it shares with the commercial’s theme.

eye to eyeNakamura Kaho × Kan Sano10rank/position

A collaboration track by two next-generation artists: singer-songwriter Kaho Nakamura and trackmaker Kan Sano.

The sound leans more toward R&B than hip-hop, yet it shares a kinship with today’s hip-hop as well.

It’s stylish and pop, yet somehow nostalgic—perfect for summer, isn’t it?

You like whisky, don’t you?Nakanaka Yoshie / Nakamura Kaho / Mochida Kaori11rank/position

This is the song featured in Suntory’s commercial “Do You Like JAPANESE WHISKY?” that began airing in December 2024.

The song was originally released in 1991 by Sayuri Ishikawa under the name SAYURI and has been used in Suntory commercials for many years.

In this latest commercial, instead of the original, a cover version by Yoshie Nakano of EGO-WRAPPIN’, singer-songwriter Kaho Nakamura, and Kaori Mochida of Every Little Thing was used.

While Sayuri Ishikawa’s original is wonderful, this new rendition with its mature arrangement is also extremely captivating.
