The coupling track to the major 1st single “Yoru no Hate” (The End of the Night).
Of all NICO’s songs, this is my personal favorite.
It’s rarely performed live, but it’s very popular among fans—a masterpiece where the lyrics, melody, and arrangement are all perfect.
“Petals become flowers, the flowers fill up and form trees, gather into a town, build a world, and surely become the universe.” “With the rain of your tears we’ll one day make a sea, and the two of us will set sail.” The lyrics are incredibly striking.

The 16th single by NICO Touches the Walls, released on August 20, 2014.
It served as the opening theme for the UHF anime Captain Earth, produced by MBS.
It feels like a bittersweet pop song and is, I think, easy to listen to.

This song was included on their indie-era first album, “Walls Is Beginning,” and was re-recorded for their major-label first mini-album, “How are you?”.
It’s one of the tracks known as the “Four Heavenly Kings of early NICO.” With a progressive approach and complex developments and structure, it remains wildly popular among fans—many would say this is quintessential NICO.
It might be a bit hard to get into for first-time listeners, but it’s a must-hear favorite.
