From the very intro, this piece leaves a powerful impression with its ominous yet comical sound and lyrics that affirm the beauty of being a minority.

Danceable beats intertwine with synths and brass tones, lifting the listener’s spirits.

Released as a single in August 2019, it drew attention at the time for being deliberately issued in the 8 cm CD format.

It’s also included on the acclaimed album “834.194,” and became familiar to a broad audience as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Daughter of Lupin.” It continued to be used for the film adaptation as well, closely aligning with the work’s worldview.

It’s a classic I’d recommend to anyone who wants to stay true to themselves or needs to recharge their energy in a pivotal moment.

When it comes to karaoke, many people find high-key songs difficult.

You can’t reach those high notes, and as a result your rhythm falls apart.

However, Sakanaction’s “Boku to Hana” has a relatively low key, so I think it’s very easy to sing.

The lyrics don’t have many words either, so you can focus on staying in tune as you sing.

One thing to watch out for is that there aren’t many places to breathe during the chorus.

Since you often hold a single syllable for a long time, the key is to take solid breaths whenever you have the chance.

A song by Sakanaction, included on their 2010 album “kikUUiki.” Spanning about seven minutes, it packs a wide range of musical elements, from a folky melody to developments featuring grand choral work.

It’s also a fan favorite that ranked first in the fan vote at Sakanaction’s 10th anniversary event.

It’s a track you’ll want to sing carefully and at length with close friends.

This is the first digital single in about a year, released on February 11, 2026.

It was written as the theme song for the drama “Kochira Yobi Jieieiho?!” directed by Koji Kato, and produced with a modern approach different from the previous work “Kaiju.” When singing “Iranai,” the key point is the high notes in the chorus after delivering the verse (A-melo) in a calm, matter-of-fact manner.

If you’re aiming for a perfect 100 in scoring, it’s okay to be slightly off pitch, but ideally you want nearly 100% pitch accuracy.

In the chorus, the melody jumps quickly up to around B4, so picture the note before you sing and hit it without hesitation.

If you nail the very first chorus note, you’ll likely stay stable from there.

That retro yet futuristic vibe is so them.

It’s a work by the band Sakanaction, who have produced numerous hits like “Shin-Takarajima,” included on their fourth single “Rookie,” released in 2011.

The cool sound arrangement, infused with elements of funk music, is irresistible.

When you feel the loneliness of a cold season, this song might just save you.

Be sure to turn the volume up and give it a listen.

Let yourself be swept away by the whirlpool of sound.

Are you familiar with a track whose Afrobeat rhythms and the wistful mood of Showa-era kayōkyoku are brilliantly fused, creating a strange, addictive quality that sticks in your head after just one listen? It’s a song Sakanaction wrote as the theme for the film “Lupin’s Daughter: The Movie,” released as a digital single in January 2022.

Following their use of “Moss” as the theme for the TV drama version, this piece was also included on the concept album “Adapt,” and it feels like a fresh challenge from the band as they marked their 15th anniversary.

The repeated phrases are pleasantly hypnotic, generating a unique sense of unity at live shows.

It’s the perfect number for when you want to escape the everyday and immerse yourself in a curious, otherworldly vibe—or when you’re simply in the mood to dance.

There are times when painful, sorrowful things happen, and I feel down and cry.

I even lose track of my own feelings, which only makes me sadder.

I think this is a song I want to listen to when I’m in that kind of unstable state.

Every time I hear the lyrics about the sad night giving way to dawn, I feel like, little by little, my positive feelings start to come back.

Sakanaction is a rock band that delivers a unique sound blending alternative rock and electronica.

In 2011, they released this track, “It’s Because I Listened to Bach’s Melodies at Night.” Inspired by the music of Bach—often called the “father of music”—the song depicts a figure overcome with melancholy under the moonlit sky.

The electronic vocals riding a four-on-the-floor beat and the surging bass will make your body move.

Set to a danceable sound, the lyrics portray a delicate heart in motion.

Give it a listen as dance music to enliven those long autumn nights.

This work paints the deepest emotions of the heart in words that are both beautiful and incisive.

It’s a song by Sakanaction, included on the album “DocumentaLy,” released in September 2011.

The lyrics, which portray the contradictions and loneliness within people through the scenery of the city, are striking.

Its distinctive sound—fusing electronic elements with rock—is another key appeal.

When you’re wondering who your true self really is, this song might stay close to your heart.
