If you’re looking for a song to boost your energy, KEYTALK’s “BUBBLE-GUM MAGIC” is highly recommended.

The guitar’s funky cutting meshes perfectly with the dance beat, and just listening to it will get you grooving.

Even when the heat has you feeling low, this track is guaranteed to lift your spirits and keep you going.

LUCKY TAPES – A Bouquet for Boring Days [Official Music Video]
A bouquet for boring daysLUCKY TAPES

Kai Takahashi’s solo project, LUCKY TAPES.

In the early days, their sound often mixed rock and J-pop, but recently the R&B side has grown stronger, and they’ve been releasing many stylish tracks.

Among them, the one I especially recommend is “Bouquet for Boring Days.” While it’s categorized as J-pop, it carries an R&B-like groove in places.

That said, the rhythm isn’t difficult, and it doesn’t feature the advanced vocal techniques common in R&B, such as melisma.

The vocal range is also very narrow, making it a song that should be easy for teenage male singers to perform.

ROSIERLUNA SEA59rank/position

It’s a popular song by the visual kei rock band LUNA SEA.

It’s a very intense track, so I highly recommend it for karaoke.

Even for people who can’t hit high notes, I don’t think it’s that difficult.

The guitar solo is incredibly cool.

REACHING FOR THE SKYMAN WITH A MISSION

MAN WITH A MISSION is a rock band that continues to attract fans with their sharp sound.

They’re a mid-career rock band, but since they’re still active on the front lines, many teenage boys are probably familiar with them.

Among their songs, the one I particularly recommend is REACHING FOR THE SKY.

Although it features an exhilarating melody, it surprisingly has a narrow vocal range; aside from the sustained long note at the end of the chorus, there aren’t even any mid-to-high notes.

The vocal line works fine even when sung roughly, making it a perfect pick for teenage boys whose voices may still be unstable.

MY FIRST STORY – I’m a mess (Audio)
I'm a messMY FIRST STORY

Let me introduce “I’M A MESS,” a song that straightforwardly expresses love for someone special.

It’s a track released by the four-piece rock band MY FIRST STORY, which also drew attention for their performance on THE FIRST TAKE.

It’s a classic love song that sings of love over a fast-paced sound, so I think people of all ages will enjoy it.

It’s also said to reflect the period of self-restraint during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With that in mind, you may feel a different message from it.

SHE’S – Letter【MV】
LetterSHE’S

SHE’S, well-regarded among rock fans as a piano-rock band, has captivated many with their whisper-soft, thornless vocals.

“Letter” is a song wrapped in gentle warmth.

Within that kindness, it’s a song about wanting to become someone worthy of a precious person.

The feeling of “I regret hurting the one I love, yet I still want to feel love” is complicated, but surely relatable to some.

It’s a track I’d especially like students who are just awakening to love in their teens to hear.

youth↑THE HIGH-LOWS↓63rank/position

A quintessential coming-of-age song by THE HIGH-LOWS, a charismatic presence in youth anthems—just like the title suggests.

Known for their many uplifting tracks and fervent popularity, THE HIGH-LOWS deliver one of their most beloved youth songs here.

It’s a track I highly recommend to anyone who hasn’t heard it.
