Western Band Songs Ranking [2026] (61–70)
Karma ChameleonCulture Club64rank/position

This is a song by Culture Club that was featured in commercials for NEC’s ValueStar desktop computer series.
The song is also known in Japan by the title “Karma wa Kimagure” (“Karma is Capricious”), and many people have probably heard it somewhere besides this commercial as well.
In particular, the chorus used in the ad is extremely catchy—once you hear it, you can’t help but want to sing along! Incidentally, there are comments online saying people mix it up with Yuji Oda’s “Love Somebody,” so it might be fun to listen to both and compare them.
Hyokkori Hyoutan-jima65rank/position

The puppet show Hyokkori Hyotan-jima, which aired in the 1960s.
This song of the same title, released as the show’s theme, has been sung by many artists—including Morning Musume—and is a timeless classic widely known across generations.
Let’s dance a Bon Odori to this song that everyone, from children to adults, knows! We recommend adding choreography that sways like an island drifting on the sea or like gently swimming through the waves.
Since the tempo is a bit fast, incorporating bigger movements and traveling steps rather than intricate motions will help you enjoy dancing without getting too caught up in the choreography!
Happy birthday to you66rank/position

It’s a classic song everyone knows.
It’s a beloved piece that naturally brings smiles to both performers and listeners.
If you play it to match a birthday scene, it will really elevate the celebratory mood.
Precisely because it’s so familiar, people can hum along with the bell tones, which naturally sparks conversation and makes the performance even more enjoyable.
Also, the harmony and sense of rhythm that emerge during the performance give everyone involved a feeling of accomplishment and joy, creating a warm, heartwarming moment.
Be sure to enjoy a wonderful performance experience that will become a lasting memory.
Battle! Champion67rank/position

This is a track that plays during the final showdown with the Champion Leon in Pokémon Sword and Shield, released in November 2019.
Since Leon is the strongest Pokémon Trainer in the Galar region, the track even includes crowd chants, and the energy is incredible.
You can really feel the audience’s anticipation through the music.
By the way, Leon reportedly became Champion at age ten and has never lost an official match since.
It’s a piece worthy of a Champion’s entrance, and one that really fires up challengers as well.
To Be With YouMr. BIG68rank/position

A four-piece American hard rock band, Mr.
Big—hugely popular in Japan as well—released this ballad as a single from their 1991 album “Lean into It.” It was their biggest hit, topping the U.S.
Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks and reaching number one in more than 15 countries worldwide.
Characterized by simple acoustic guitar strumming and beautiful vocal harmonies, it has an easy, handclap-friendly groove that makes your body move naturally.
The lyrics express a desire to be there for a love that isn’t going well, making it a song often played at weddings and in nostalgic moments.
Known as a group of virtuosos, they deliberately dialed back their technical showmanship here to put the emotion of the song front and center—another key highlight.
It’s a perfect karaoke pick to sing with friends, sure to bring back the heat of your youth.
100% Courage69rank/position

Familiar as the theme song of the anime “Nintama Rantarō,” “Yuuki 100%” is a track that clearly conveys a positive spirit.
The sound is light and buoyant, so moving your body to it lets you fully feel the fun throughout your whole body.
If you take cues from the lyrics—like the shining sun—when coming up with movements, it’s easy to tell what comes next, so it’s a great choice.
It may be important to really feel the rhythm as if you’re bouncing and to dance with a smile so the song’s fun stands out.
Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)Green Day70rank/position

This is a song whose heartfelt words and warm melody gently embrace life’s turning points.
Featured on Green Day’s 1997 album Nimrod, it’s characterized by the soft tones of acoustic guitar and strings.
While accepting life’s uncertainties and farewells, it also sings of the importance of cherishing past experiences.
Loved as a classic that accompanies life’s milestones—such as graduations and weddings—it reached No.
2 on the U.S.
Modern Rock chart.
Give it a listen when you want to look back on youthful memories or need the courage to take a new step forward.
