Reggaeton classics. Recommended popular songs (11–20)
Borro CassetteMaluma

One of Colombia’s most representative artists, Maluma.
Like Shakira, he is among the country’s best-selling artists and, as a singer-songwriter, has produced numerous hit songs.
Among his many classics, the one I especially recommend is “Borro Cassette.” Released in 2015, this track became a massive hit not only in Colombia but across Latin America.
A must-listen for fans of classic reggaeton!
Una Lady Como TúMTZ

Manuel Turizo Zapata, a reggaeton musician from Colombia affectionately known by his initials MTZ.
Within the reggaeton scene, he’s a relatively new-generation artist, drawing global attention as a figure expected to lead the future of reggaeton.
The song that helped him gain international recognition is “Una Lady Como Tú.” Released as a single in 2016, it became a massive hit across the Spanish-speaking world.
Con Altura ft. El GuinchoROSALÍA, J Balvin

Rosalía, a vocalist from Spain, is an artist known for genres like Nuevo Flamenco and Urban Flamenco, where she mixes flamenco elements with contemporary music to help popularize the tradition.
One of her collaborations with the popular Colombian artist J Balvin is the track Con Altura ft.
El Guincho.
It’s a striking piece featuring a track that blends reggaeton and hip-hop with stylish vocals.
Be sure to check it out.
Bailando ft. Descemer Bueno, Gente De ZonaEnrique Iglesias

Enrique Iglesias, an artist from Spain who enjoys international popularity.
I think very few people in Japan are familiar with Spanish artists.
However, some of you might recognize him, right? That said, while he was born in Spain, he lived in the United States from a young age, so he’s more American in a sense.
Even so, because he has many catchy songs in Spanish, he’s beloved in Latin regions as well.
His song “Bailando ft.
Descemer Bueno, Gente De Zona” is a reggaeton track that lets you experience his catchy appeal.
Bad Bunny feat. DrakeM.I.A.

Bad Bunny, a rapper from Puerto Rico, is a leading artist in Latin trap.
He also has close ties with reggaeton artists and has collaborated with figures like Daddy Yankee and J Balvin.
Thanks in part to these collaborations, he has released many reggaeton tracks as well.
One of his signature songs is Mia, which features the world-renowned rapper Drake.
Be sure to pay attention to the track that blends reggaeton and trap!
