Recommended songs for robot dancing (21–30)

MirrorsDam-Funk

A pioneer of synth boogie embraced by the likes of Mark Ronson and Pharrell Williams, and an evangelist of next modern funk—Dâm-Funk.

This track is a classic among classics and the signature song from the album that sparked the movement.

Its futuristic vibe and the distinctive sound of the vocoder perfectly match the robot theme.

Whether it’s techno or anything else, because the sound isn’t organic, it lends itself quite well to that kind of theme.

This is a track by Vinsyl, an artist who represents the French music scene.

Its unique style skillfully fuses elements of hip-hop and electro.

The lyrics depict the struggle against criticism and prejudice faced in everyday life, emphasizing the importance of self-confidence and the pursuit of happiness that isn’t swayed by external judgments.

It’s included on the EP “Motifs,” released in June 2014, and has received high acclaim.

Perfect for robot dance, its rhythmic beat and refined musicality are sure to enhance a dancer’s movements.

StratosphereDigitalism

This is a track by the German electronic music duo Digitalism.

It’s an instrumental piece included on the album “I Love You, Dude,” released in June 2011.

Characterized by high energy and a dynamic sound, it’s an appealing song that evokes a sense of openness and weightlessness.

While it has no lyrics, it leaves room for each listener’s own interpretation.

The track is perfect for robot dance routines, likely bringing out rhythmic movements, and it’s a great recommendation for street dancers as well.

The RobotsKraftwerk

As the title “The Robots” suggests, it’s a song made precisely for robot dancing.

It was recorded in 1978.

In live performances, the members had robots play guitar, and robot mannequins would appear on stage.

True to its title, it evokes robots, making it perfect for robot dance.

Since there are few lyrics, I think it’s quite easy to dance to for robot moves.

The flowing melody makes you want to sway along.

For this track, choreography with fewer sharp hits and more smooth, flowing movements works well.
