A girls’ vocal group that has worked on theme songs for various TV shows and commercials, and is hugely popular with families at home.

Their greatest appeal is their exceptional vocal ability, but their songs are also often very catchy! This track, too, stands out with its catchy melody line and is very pleasant to listen to.

By the way, this song was also used as a theme song for the anime My Hero Academia, wasn’t it?

PlasmaYonezu Kenshi

The world of Kenshi Yonezu woven from imaginative melodies and innovative electronic sounds.

Set against the backdrop of space, this work—depicting life’s choices and fateful encounters—was released in January 2025 as the theme song for the animated film “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-.” It carries Yonezu’s signature delicate sensibility and straightforward passion, familiar from albums like “diorama” and “BOOTLEG.” Alongside its high-energy musicality, the lyrics powerfully convey the courage to step into new worlds and the drive to face the unknown, leaving a deep impression.

It’s a song I especially recommend to younger listeners who are determined to forge their own path.

Super Beast Gigachōgakusei

Vocaloid producer Chogakusei, whose profile remains shrouded in mystery, released Chojugiga as the third installment of his “Chogakusei × Vocaloid Producer Project.” This track is a collaboration with Vocaloid producer Nirukajitsu, blending elements of traditional Japanese music and rock into its sound.

It’s also intriguing that the piece includes motifs that evoke the illustrated scroll Chojū-jinbutsu-giga, which appears to have inspired it.

Additionally, the characters born from the song that appear in the music video are not to be missed.

Moon FlowerDAOKO

Daoko, who is especially popular among teens and people in their twenties, created Tsuki no Hana as the theme song for the film Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos.

It’s an EDM track with a pleasant beat and a stylish vibe.

At the same time, it captures the film’s worldview and includes elements that link back to past theme songs, which is part of its appeal.

The song is included on the album that compiles the work’s theme songs, so why not take this opportunity to compare them?

This is a classic song by GOOSEHOUSE, an unconventional band/vocal group that rose to fame by releasing many cover songs from well-known artists on video-sharing sites.

It was also used as an insert song in anime and gained widespread popularity, especially among young people such as elementary school students.

ECHOLittle Glee Monster

This song is by Little Glee Monster, the five-member girls’ vocal group also known as “LitoGuri,” popular for tracks like “Sekai wa Anata ni Waraikakete Iru.” It was released in 2019 as their 15th single and served as the broadcast theme song for NHK’s Rugby World Cup 2019 coverage.

Many elementary school students surely admire their powerful and beautiful harmonies.

strollInoue Azumi

Speaking of Studio Ghibli films, everyone watches them in elementary school, right? Among them, Totoro is an especially popular character! This song is often used in scenes featuring children at sports days or weddings, and it’s also very popular among elementary school students.

It has a very cute, charming feel, and it brings to mind Mei-chan walking along, going on little explorations.
