A Kind of MagicQueen

A soaring vocal rings out in “A Kind of Magic,” heightening the mystique of a magic show.
The song was released in 1986 by the legendary British rock band Queen and is included on the album of the same name.
It was composed by drummer Roger Taylor, who also wrote “Radio Ga Ga.” Roger completed the piece inspired by a line of dialogue from the fantasy film Highlander, for which the song had been selected.
Influenced by the fantasy film, it’s a track that radiates a distinctly magical atmosphere.
Eine kleine Nachtmusik – Movement IWolfgang Amadeus Mozart

A lively and refreshing string piece that is considered one of Mozart’s most famous works.
Its opening makes a strong impact, so it works effectively on stage.
Mozart’s music is also said to have a relaxing effect, so it seems advantageous to incorporate it from that perspective as well.
The Third ManAnton Karas

The cheerful, guitar-like sound of “The Third Man Theme.” This song is the main theme of the 1949 British black-and-white film The Third Man.
It is also sometimes called “Harry Lime’s Theme,” a play on the protagonist’s name in the film.
The composer was Anton Karas, an Austrian musician.
He was a performer of the zither—an instrument resembling a shortened koto—and this guitar-like piece was in fact played on the zither.
The elegant atmosphere of this tune is perfect for a magic show!
AsayakeCASIOPEA

Casiopea is one of Japan’s leading fusion bands, and the song you often hear in magic performances is “Asayake.” The band has been active since around 1974 and continues to perform live today, captivating many fans.

Ralph MacDonald, an American percussionist who took part in recordings with a wide range of artists.
Among his songs, the one that perfectly suits magic that unfolds dazzlingly one moment after another is “Mister Magic.” Riding on a light, upbeat rhythm, the mature, sophisticated melody adds a touch of elegance.
It’s well-suited for stage magic where people vanish or suddenly appear, as well as for silent performances.

Strawberry Switchblade is a female duo from Glasgow.
