Contigo aprendíMoncho

Moncho, the king of bolero.

He’s heavily influenced by Lucho Gatica—you can hear that lineage in his vocals.

His biggest charm is, above all, that rich midrange! His voice is so thick that first-time listeners will probably be shocked.

If I were to compare him to a Japanese artist, he’s close to Shigeru Matsuzaki.

It’s like Moncho is an even thicker-voiced version of him.

His singing ability is also outstanding, so be sure to check him out!

Ya no queda nadaAlba Diaz

Alba Díaz is a cantaora whose captivating vocals blend flamenco at the core with elements of Black music like R&B and soul.

She’s a personal recommendation of mine.

She’s such a niche artist that probably most Spaniards don’t know her, but her vocal prowess rivals, if not surpasses, Buika’s.

She mainly performs as a cantaora.

On her albums, alongside original tracks, she covers classic R&B and soul songs in Spanish.

Her original songs are incredibly stylish and refined, so definitely check her out!

Dark Moor is a symphonic power metal band that represents Spain.

They are known for songs that arrange classical masterpieces.

Their skill is tremendous, and among symphonic power metal bands they are undoubtedly among the very best.

However, their popularity within Spain has not been very high, and especially in their early days there were many negative opinions about their musical style.

Nowadays, they are gradually gaining recognition and are respected by devoted fans around the world.

He debuted in 2014 with the EP “Change or Die,” and his 2019 track “A Mí” became a major hit in Spain.

In 2020, he won Best National Artist at the LOS40 Music Awards.

Notably, he left home at 15 and pursued music while working as a waiter and bricklayer.

As an independent artist, he has built a fanbase using platforms like YouTube.

He enjoys international support and is regarded as a promising new talent in Latin music.

Blending diverse musical styles with his own life experiences, his songs are recommended for listeners seeking something fresh and exciting.

Pablo Alborán is a singer-songwriter who enjoys tremendous popularity in Spain.

His musical style blends pop with elements of flamenco, similar to Alejandro Sanz—what you might call the nuevo flamenco genre.

He has also achieved great commercial success, winning three Latin Grammy Awards.

Although he remains active at the top of the scene, he continues to release songs that, as in his early days, make extensive use of acoustic sounds.

He’s a very catchy artist, so be sure to check him out!
