They’ve released countless masterpieces, whether on major labels or as independents!

In this article, we’ll introduce a whole range of their passionate and straightforward tracks all at once!

This song drew attention as the theme for the film Tokyo Revengers.

It’s a striking track with a powerful message about caring for others and the preciousness of life, featuring SUPER BEAVER’s signature, passionate rock sound that resonates deeply.

The melody blends a sense of speed with heartfelt poignancy, beautifully expressing the film’s theme of “connections that transcend time.” Released in July 2021, it was sold in two single formats: a first-press limited edition and a standard edition.

Its profile rose alongside the film’s release, earning support from a different audience than before.

The lyrics’ universal worldview, which gently accompanies the feeling of thinking about someone, makes it a perfect work for moments when you want to feel the bond with someone important.

Tokyo Meteor Shower is an irresistible anthem about their hometown, Tokyo.

It’s included on the album If the World Is Going to Wake Up and is one of their most popular tracks, following the lead song If the World Still Wakes Up.

I think they were in a transitional phase at the time.

Under the theme “NO SUPER BEAVER, NO LIFE,” this song was created during their activities after moving from a major label to an indie, expressing their sense of “being themselves.”

“Beautiful Days,” included on SUPER BEAVER’s sixth full album, Pre-Cheer Night, released in 2018.

Every track on this album is truly what you’d call “no filler,” but this is a number I especially want to recommend.

When I first heard it, I was in a very fragile state, and I have a memory of bursting into tears out loud.

I wondered why I’d never realized something so simple all this time, and I sincerely respect Yanagisawa-san for being able to create a song like this!

Thank youSUPER BEAVER

The word “thank you” appears many times throughout the song.

The lyrics were written by guitarist Ryota Yanagisawa, and it has been cherished as a classic graduation song for a new generation.

It’s a kind of grand piece that says “thank you” to everything in this world, but it’s not easy to express gratitude so straightforwardly, is it? It’s a song that makes you think, “While we’re alive, we really need to properly convey our thanks to the people we want to thank.” The track is included on the album 361°, released in February 2014.

There are two versions of the music video: SUPER BEAVER’s regular performance version and a drama-style version.

This song “Senkou,” included on the 2018 album Before the Cheers, is likely to really resonate with young people—especially those without clear goals or who are just drifting through each day.

It’s a track packed with what makes SUPER BEAVER so great: they sing smoothly yet passionately about things that are obvious but seldom said—the kinds of words that can feel embarrassing to speak out loud—and they do it in a way that speaks directly to you.

Their 11th single, “Yokan” (“Premonition”), was released in 2018.

The song was used as the theme for the drama “We Are Miracles” starring Issey Takahashi.

From the very intro, it gives you that excited feeling—as if something is about to happen, as if something fun is just around the corner—truly a song that gives you a ‘premonition.’ It’s a powerful, message-driven number characteristic of SUPER BEAVER that resonates across generations.

It’s a track I especially recommend when you’re overwhelmed or worn out from studying or work and feel like you’re at your limit.

-ness; typicality; the quality/essence of being [X] (as in “X-ness” or “X-like character”)SUPER BEAVER

The sixth single, “Rashisa,” released in 2014, was used as the theme song for the anime Barakamon.

Whether you’re young—or not so young—there are times when you think about “being yourself” and “individuality,” right? I think many of us often end up thinking negatively, like “Maybe I don’t have any individuality,” or “I’m not particularly good at anything.” “Rashisa” is a song that gently stays close to those feelings.

In this age of information overload, it’s a soothing track that makes you want to stay true to yourself without being swayed by social media or the people around you.
