This is a track by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra featuring TK from Ling tosite sigure as a guest vocalist.

Set for release in July 2025, it’s being used as the commercial song for the men’s care brand MARO17.

Produced as the third installment of the VS.

Series that began in 2022, it features a sound arrangement where their unique styles don’t blend so much as collide fiercely.

The philosophical lyrics—depicting the dignity of remaining solitary in a world spiraling into disorder—leave a strong impression.

When you find yourself questioning convention or harmony, this song might be the perfect fit.

This is the theme song for the Sunday drama airing in the April 2025 season, “Dame Mane! – Managing a Hopeless Talent –.” As with most dramas, the timing when the theme song kicks in near the end is just perfect, and since this song has no intro, I was moved every time by vocalist Mayu Tanikinu’s gentle voice.

As you listen, the unison one octave below in the chorus really stands out.

This serves as an important foundation in the low end! The way the chorus comes in after the C section with call-and-response is also lovely, so I’d love to line up the timing and sing that part too.

Basically, the harmony is sung one octave below, so it might be too low for some women, but be careful not to strain your throat.

MARO17: 'You haven't given up yet, have you?' 30-second version

This is a commercial for MARO17, a men’s anti-aging care brand.

In the 2024 “You haven’t given up yet, have you?” version, an original animated video is featured, and there’s even a full version that runs about two and a half minutes.

The background music uses an original song by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra titled “You Haven’t Given Up Yet, Have You?”, and both the visuals and the music are incredibly cool.

It’s one of those commercials that, when it comes on screen, makes you stop what you’re doing and watch, don’t you think?

This is a commercial where Kuranosuke Sasaki discovers Kirin’s Jōjō Shochu Soda and shares how it tastes to him.

It’s straightforward: he tries it because of those around him and is surprised by its crisp flavor.

The relaxed mood of the ad is further elevated by the song “Brazil” by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.

It’s included on their 2012 album Walkin’.

The arrangement—starting with light percussion and gradually layering in instruments—is striking, creating a fun track that steadily builds excitement.
