There are quite a few Vocaloid songs that hold a grudge against Christmas, aren’t there? One I recommend in that vein is Chuutoro-P’s “Seiya Bokumetsu Chouzetsu Suishoudan” (Ultra Recommendation Committee for the Abolition of Holy Night).

As the title suggests, the song carries a message wishing for the abolition of Christmas.

If you end up facing Christmas without a boyfriend or girlfriend, relieve your stress with this track.

I have a part-time job on Christmas!chie P

The fact that there are shops, such as cake shops, that liven up Christmas means there are people working there, right? The beautiful night scenery of Christmas is created by those who are working on Christmas.

Even Santa, who’s entrusted with the biggest job of all, would have a hard time without at least one or two part-time helpers, don’t you think?

Merry Christmas at the templekihirohito

Merry Christmas at the temple: Gohō Shōjo Sowaka-chan
Merry Christmas at the templekihirohito

This is a Christmas song from the fictional anime series “Gohō Shōjo Sowaka-chan.” It’s a track by the Vocaloid producer kihirohito, released in 2007.

As the title suggests, it’s themed around Christmas at a temple.

The sound arrangement is catchy with a sparkly vibe, but the impact of the lyrics steals the show.

Since it has a narrative quality, it’s better to experience it yourself than for me to explain it here.

Give this slightly unusual Christmas song a listen.

SNOW LETTERKebin

SNOW LETTERKebin

SNOW LETTER, produced by Kevin, a Vocaloid producer gaining attention with his cover videos and original songs.

It’s a track where lyrics that draw you into a dreamlike world intertwine with synth tones that shimmer like ringing bells.

Also note flower’s androgynous vocals, gently addressing a loved one amid a biting cold.

With a beautifully expansive chorus melody and high tones, this Vocaloid song crafts a dreamy atmosphere.

How about listening to this warm love song to color a leisurely Christmas?

X’mas to youTera Komuro P

X’mas to you/TKp feat. Miku Hatsune
X'mas to youTera Komuro P

It’s a love song about spending our first Christmas together, and singing, “From now on, let’s celebrate this day together every year.” The track is by Tera Komuro P and was released in 2007.

The style is the so-called Komuro Sound.

The name “Tera Komuro P” comes from how strongly this song embodies that Komuro Sound.

Why not lift your spirits with this stylish Christmas tune? Its fast pace might also make it perfect as driving BGM.

And when you do, be sure to sing your heart out!

CassiopeiaInokashira P

[With Chinese subtitles] [Inokashira] Cassiopeia [Hatsune Miku original song with PV]
CassiopeiaInokashira P

This is Inokashira P’s second Vocaloid song.

It’s a track called “Cassiopeia,” about two people who parted ways and are starting anew.

While acknowledging that it was good they met, it describes their separation with the word “freedom,” suggesting there’s a deeper meaning beyond that.

The lyrics are very forward-looking.

The melody line features refrains, making it easy to follow and likely easy to sing at karaoke.

The ending, which expresses a wish to smile together if they ever meet again someday, is especially memorable.

Palpite Christmasbonorisu

It’s an up-tempo, bright, and lively Mikuno-pop track.

You could even call it a cheerful Christmas song that sounds a bit like an idol tune.

Bonorisusa is reportedly named by combining Bonobono + Chipmunk-kun, since they’re a fan of Miki Igarashi’s manga Bonobono.
